Anyone who seriously uses the term is part of the cult.

[–] dizzle18@lemmy.zip 25 points 9 hours ago (4 children)

I know everyone points to his stroke as the reason why he behaves this way today, but I sure as hell remember him still being a reasonable human being between the time of his stroke and being elected. I think it’s just a convenient excuse to cover up the fact that he’s been either been bought out by AIPAC, or was a GOP plant all along. Either way, I wish people would stop bringing up the stroke as the reason he’s such a fuckwad today.

[–] UnspecificGravity@piefed.social 2 points 3 hours ago

He's just a liar.

[–] crusa187@lemmy.ml 19 points 8 hours ago

I agree. It wasn’t the stroke. He’s just a piece of shit and once he got access to some power the mask came flying off.

One of a long line of fake progressives who had the audacity to promise what we desperately need and the cruelly deny us once in office. It hurts that so few of them are legitimate actors.

[–] coalie@piefed.zip 13 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

I heard from Pennsylvanians that he was this way before the election.

[–] VitoRobles@lemmy.today 5 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

Yep. Pennsylvania is called Pennsyltucky for a reason. There's also a point where the biggest population of the KKK was once in Pennsylvania.

[–] teyrnon@sh.itjust.works 3 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

Per capita I thought it was Indiana, at least in their heydey. The kkk that is.

[–] chaogomu@lemmy.world 3 points 5 hours ago

I think that it was actually Oregon.

As a territory, Oregon was segregated to the point where black people were not allowed in the state at all.

Oregon joined the Union with an exclusion law in place.

It's still a hot bed of white supremacy.

[–] teyrnon@sh.itjust.works 4 points 8 hours ago (1 children)

That is incorrect, he was always a piece of shit, he was play acting at not being. I know because he supported fracking the entire time.

[–] dizzle18@lemmy.zip 1 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

Well, my point that the stroke is not to blame for his behavior in office still stands at least.

I appreciate Fetterman for always illustrating the brain damaged point of view.

[–] TranscendentalEmpire@lemmy.today 13 points 8 hours ago (4 children)

The brain damage hasn't helped, but Fetterman has always been a conservative cosplaying as a working class union guy. His father is the CEO of an insurance agency, a big Republican donor, and he bankrolled Fettermans political career.

If you actually look into his history in government his behavior has been very consistent throughout his career. Pretty much anyone who works with him will always report that he's an erasable contrarian and is very lazy. Even as Lt gov he barely showed up to preside over the state Senate which was mandatory, and his official schedule was empty 1/3 of the time. Even when he did decide to work, he averaged a 4-5 hour day.

[–] UnspecificGravity@piefed.social 0 points 3 hours ago

It was always weird to me that people online were acting like the fact that he couldn't be bothered to dress like an adult was somehow a really awesome demonstration of how great a politician they were going to be.

[–] GalacticGrapefruit@lemmy.world 7 points 8 hours ago

I keep trying to tell people that while brain damage can alter a personality, it usually does so by removing prior inhibitions or damaging memory, reasoning, and emotional regulation. The core personality traits rarely change this drastically.

He was always this evil. He just has a harder time hiding it now.

[–] TheFlopster@lemmy.world 4 points 7 hours ago

I can't figure out what "erasable" means in this context.

...Maybe it was supposed to be "irascible," and got autocorrected?

[–] teyrnon@sh.itjust.works 5 points 8 hours ago

I knew he was a piece of shit from the start when he supported fracking and denied the harms of it, in PA no less.

[–] Bonesince1997@lemmy.world 21 points 9 hours ago

Is Trump derangement syndrome like when Trump went on and on about Obama's birth certificate for years? Strange because the only purpose of that was racism. Now, people have push back on Trump for real reasons. Fetterman prefers the bad faith arguments.

[–] HalfAFrisbee@lemmy.world 24 points 10 hours ago

I've never been more disappointed in a clot.

[–] IAmYouButYouDontKnowYet@reddthat.com 6 points 7 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago) (2 children)

All Americans left, right, upsidedown, invisible, whatever, are fucking crazy, wake the fuck up people. This country is fucked because it's culture is fucked.

[–] grimpy@lemmy.myserv.one 2 points 6 hours ago

it’s what it’s

[–] DaMummy@hilariouschaos.com 2 points 7 hours ago (2 children)

What would you have us do?

[–] IAmYouButYouDontKnowYet@reddthat.com 1 points 6 hours ago* (last edited 5 hours ago)

I think we are fucked to be honest. ...I think the same people running the game now will easily take ownership and utilize any kind of revolt that could be formed. We funded a beast and made it invincible at the cost of our true freedom and humanity.

And you can't look at America alone either, you have to look at the world's geopolitics as well. I assume we've tainted other nations through our intelligence agreements. You can see this might be true just by following the Epstein stuff and Robert maxwells history, not to mention peter theil and the tech creeps. It seems there's a race for world conquest that will further the death of genuine honest humanity. The imprisonment of humanity into digitized surveillance and AI government/law that if you don't submit to it you don't get to exist in modern reality and if you op out you become disposable and abused like we currently do to the middle east or outcasted people in general.

I think as a regular citizens it might be best to participate in the machine as little as possible, and to watch and learn from geopolitics... Specifically Iran right now.

Also practice the idea of living without the privileges we have normalized. Because if people are serious about change we will be living through years without them.

We are slowly reaching a critical mass (over past decades) of "by any means necessary" ...when our options are gone, and there's nothing left to lose. When we get there people will start to realize they have the power make something out of nothing to change reality, even with nothing, and even if it means not being able to live to see the change.

It kind of feels like this is why trump was puppeted into place. Like not only is world conquest a race but it's also a race against the regular people reaching critical mass... They need their modern systems in place asap to retain power and control on a grander scale. Trump is the puppet that takes the blame for the blitzkrieg that is putting the ideology into reality. He is not the mastermind.

For all we know it could be CIA throwing a coup because they know population is reaching a point of not being able control. And again look into the history of the CIA and it's not unbelievable for that to be happening or for them to have working connections with criminals and tech billionaires.

There's so much to look into ...even the wars going on now align with old conspiracies and prophecy of ideological religious extremism. And with that in mind, maybe ideology of religious extremists and freemason's have taken control of our institutions. After all their history and lifespan is far greater than America's. I think it's the Catholic, Jewish and freemason's eskatology that all basically align up to the current wars of Israel trying to take over. If Israel gets that land, we can watch to see if the other steps of the eskatology are followed and that will basically be proof that the "illuminati" is real and close to its goal. Sounds crazy and I always took it with an extreme grain of salt... But it seems like it's actually possible now. Like the current "step" they are at is the war going on now and also spreading antisemitism to move Jews back to Israel after Israel claims the Middle East. I think the "Jews" (the extremist ones, not the regular people) believe that the war speeds up the second coming of Christ and after they win this war Christ will return. And the Christian or Catholics and freesmasons or whatever believe Israel/Jews need to reach that point in order for the bibles gog and magog event to happen. Crazy shit.. also just a very vague summary of what I could recall. But even this stuff sort of aligns with the Epstein/Robert maxwell/trump/tech billionaire bullshit. Some hypothesize that this current war will help collapse USA and with the antisemitism pushing Jews to Israel, Israel will become the next world leader with the tech industry rebasing there. And that Ai tech (not simple llm) would grow into the "second coming of Christ". Which if I recall aligns with peter theils weird ideologies. His antichrist thoughts align. He says to be against the wars is to be the antichrist. So basically I think they believe that are doing gods work and are trying to create the second coming of Christ through transhumanism. I don't think we should underestimate batshit crazy people.

Understanding there's a game being played that is above the life we are taught and even above our nations is something people need to start accepting.

Listen to Rachel Maddow and read the latest HuffPo, their instructions will come eventually.

[–] Dearth@lemmy.world 4 points 7 hours ago

That's what America's centrists do. America's left doesn't trust any corporation much less costly owned media

[–] TheDemonBuer@lemmy.world 18 points 10 hours ago

“I am literally the only Democrat in America, in Congress, that I’ve come across that’s saying, ‘I think it’s a great thing to break and destroy the Iranian regime,’” he added.

There are plenty of Democrats who have often supported a US interventionist foreign policy. There are plenty of Democrats who are perfectly fine with letting Israel direct US policy regarding the Middle East. This has led many Democrats to support terrible foreign policy decisions, like the Iraq war. To their credit, many Democrats are finally starting to wise up and learn from these past mistakes. They're ever so slowly starting to realize that it might not be such a great idea to keep making the same devastating blunders, over and over and over again.

Unfortunately, men like Fetterman and Trump are not big on learning or wisdom. They're too fucking stupid to realize that they haven't destroyed the Iranian regime, they've certainly strengthened it. All they've done is put a younger Ayatollah in power with even more reason to hate the US and Israel. Congratulations, you're an idiot. But they have weakened the global economy! So there's that.

All of the lies

[–] GuyIncognito@lemmy.ca 2 points 6 hours ago

It would be sick if the Iranian Quds Force ninjas were to infiltrate his lair and behead him, ending the ogre's reign of terror forever

[–] TrickDacy@lemmy.world 10 points 9 hours ago

Says the brain damaged cultist who exemplifies perfectly "unfit for office"

[–] BrianTheeBiscuiteer@lemmy.world 14 points 10 hours ago (2 children)

Why is he even still a Democrat at this point?

[–] givesomefucks@lemmy.world 13 points 9 hours ago

$$$

Run of the mill republicans do t get near as much money as a D that will vote with Republicans.

Not to mention the attention.

If he was a Republican, no one would know his name, he'd just blend in

[–] Rothe@piefed.social 3 points 8 hours ago

Because a fascist cosplaying as a Democrat does more damage than just outright joining the fascist party.

[–] Tolookah@discuss.tchncs.de 13 points 10 hours ago

Half right, someone is deranged

[–] melsaskca@lemmy.ca 5 points 8 hours ago

Then he looked over to his republican handler to confirm if he said it correctly.

[–] Zedstrian@sopuli.xyz 3 points 7 hours ago

Fetterman is the perfect example of controlled opposition.

[–] artyom@piefed.social 3 points 9 hours ago

Democrats say Fetterman governed by Trump Derangement Syndrome.

[–] Fizz@lemmy.nz 4 points 10 hours ago

You never want to be on the same side as fetterman. So this is good news for dems.

[–] lemmyng@lemmy.world 0 points 6 hours ago

Why didn't the stroke take him?
