She wants the D.

I'm just going to believe this is a troll, because I'm tired of realizing some people are actually this dumb.

[–] abbadon420@sh.itjust.works 16 points 2 days ago (1 children)

This comment is offensive to my people.

[–] dream_weasel@sh.itjust.works 2 points 2 days ago

The dyslexic?

[–] cm0002@lemmings.world 10 points 2 days ago

Could also just be a joke review, although not sure where the line is between "joke" and "troll" is, ig it's up to the individual lol

Like a madman who throws firebrands, arrows, and death, Is the man who deceives his neighbor, And says, “I was only joking!”

Proverbs 26:18-19

There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who can't spell happy birtday.

Proverbs 6:16-19

[–] MonkderVierte@lemmy.zip 4 points 2 days ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

Yeah, no. Don't pretend you've never made a mistake in a post/email/....

[–] Syndication@lemmy.today 3 points 2 days ago

I could maybe give them benefit of doubt if they were sleep deprived or stoned and made the mistake for a second before fixing it, but to type out an entire bad review and take pictures of it all? That's a lot of chances for them to notice the mistake before posting lol

[–] Ilovethebomb@sh.itjust.works 1 points 2 days ago

My mom fucked up a cake she made for my niece about 10 years ago, and we've made sure to tell her "Happy Birtday" every year since

[–] daychilde@lemmy.world 12 points 2 days ago

Awww, that's a really nice cake, too. Excellent drawing and writing skills! Not so much on the spelling skills, though… :)

[–] WhiteOakBayou@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago

That drawing is pretty good though! Poor thing doesn't read well but she has an eye for proportion.

[–] BillyClark@piefed.social 27 points 2 days ago (1 children)

From the picture, we can tell that even if they knew their letters, they still didn't know how to spell "birthday" in any case.

[–] OpenStars@piefed.social 12 points 2 days ago

You are absolutely correct. They spleled it Birhtday when it shuould have been Birfday!

Birfday!

[–] EtherWhack@lemmy.world 8 points 2 days ago

Even if you wanted the "D" to be an "α", you could still put the sting on the "A" sideways to make it look runic-looking "ᗆ"

[–] justdaveisfine@piefed.social 12 points 2 days ago (3 children)

[–] OpenStars@piefed.social 2 points 2 days ago

You: uh... touché.
