LOL, the masterminds of 9/11 can all die in a fire.

Apparently, threatening to expose Trump as a pedophile is more effective than giving his son-in-law a few billion dollars.

What's strange to me is that it's still working. I'm pretty sure if djt started his next speech with "Just to clear the air, yes I fucked some kids, but only the hot ones," exactly zero people would be surprised and 20-30% of US voters would argue it's the kids' fault for being so hot.

I almost downvoted this reflexively. Not because it’s wrong, because I really think it’s right, but because reality is so disheartening.

[–] taco@anarchist.nexus 24 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Totally fair. Feel free to downvote away if it makes you feel better; I get paid the same either way.

Omg paid Russian bots? On MY instance? The inhumanity!

[–] kreskin@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

yes, outrageous-- how does one go about being paid for lemmy comments? Asking so I can condemn that, of course.

[–] daychilde@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

I downvoted you twice. Then I upvoted you. Take that! Hah! :)

That Green India should have Modi sweating

[–] AlDente@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 day ago

India is on the ally list. Modi and Bibi have been getting very friendly lately. Big hugs! https://apnews.com/article/israel-india-modi-visit-netanyahu-3579fe515c0dad8c05431d59706a4cd7

A bribe gets you nothing after what you paid for it.

Blackmail has "interest" , everytime you do one thing so they don't disclose it, they can blackmail you about that too.

It's built into the system, the first bunch of times you do something, it's nothing and you're paid a lot. But after a few times suddenly your only payment is not being turned in for treason.

You gotta treat it like terrorists and fascists and just refuse to negotiate.

Trump is easily manipulated and surrounded by weirdo evangelicals who hate Jewish people but love Israel for dumb Biblical reasons.

[–] NutWrench@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 day ago (3 children)

This. Evangelicals hate Jews but they need the state of Israel to survive so it can play its part in the Rapture.

[–] kreskin@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Not really. Thats one interpretation but its not spelled out specifically. The bible is funny like that-- you can always pretend to find whatever nonsense you want in it.

[–] ecvanalog@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

You’re right that the Bible is not literal on this issue, but it is absolutely what drives evangelicals to ardently support the Israeli state.

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Also you get a lot of folks who love Israel because it's a place to keep Jewish people away from them.

[–] kreskin@lemmy.world -1 points 1 day ago

yes yes, the poor israelis, always the victims no matter what they do. And all their evil actions are really someone elses fault, always.

Money well spent, Mr. Bonesaw.

[–] TropicalDingdong@lemmy.world 25 points 2 days ago

That's tough, buddy.

[–] dylanmorgan@slrpnk.net 17 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Oh, did you think the suppurating asshole who occupies the White House would be at all loyal to you? The guy who has betrayed everyone who’s ever called him a friend? What a bunch of doorknobs.

[–] pelespirit@sh.itjust.works 7 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Somehow, trump makes these morons feel special and that it won't happen to them. I have no fucking clue why. Just look at the laundry list of people who he's abandoned or didn't help as much as they put on the line:

  • Rudy
  • My pillow dude
  • Eric
  • Every contractor that has ever worked for him
  • His followers
  • Every cabinet member he's ever had
  • Journalists
  • etc
[–] ecvanalog@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

I would argue most journalists got exactly what they wanted out of him, which was clicks and short term financial success. The problem for them is that he was supposed to be gone by now, and those short term deals with the devil now look like bad deals.

[–] ecvanalog@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

I’m sure it will get better once they own a huge chunk of Skydance.

[–] someguy3@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago

He wants them to buy the systems.

IRGC has claimed that they did not target Aramco oil refinery. They didn't deny hitting USAF base though, but have been suggesting other attacks in the region are from Israel, or that collateral damage in the region is result of ground based missile defenses that cause deflections and general debris.

Israel wanting to get Gulf states more involved against Iran is a wet dream, and like USS Liberty, side picking tends to be locked in, regardless of facts.

Even if Gulf states are timid in criticizing US/Israel, I doubt they will increase cooperation with Zionazis.
