Microslop is the most microslopping microslop that ever microslopped.

Hm... Come to think of it...

Fact #1: Microsoft claims their codebase is now 30% AI-generated.

Fact #2: US courts are in pretty unanimous agreement that AI generated material cannot be copyrighted.

So... What percentage of AI-generated code does Microslop need to reach before their software copyrights become unenforceable?

Microsoft is using Discord and not Teams?

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 13 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

As if MS would use their own Microslop.

Never get high on your own supply. First rule of being a slop dealer.

I heard once that Microsoft employees are not allowed to use Teams to communicate on the job. Not sure why. Probably because it sucks or is terribly insecure.

No idea who told you this, but MS employees use Teams exclusively.

As for it being terrible, it's unfortunately hard to find a competitor that does better with the same feature set (video/screen sharing/text channels/sso/tenants/etc). Many get close (like Slack) but none have the whole package.

It is truly astonishing how a company with their resources could have a program like Teams be so terrible for so long. Matrix/Element have advanced faster than Teams.

Lol, and that is such a mild form of criticism... To nuke their whole Discord over it. On the other hand, I guess nothing of value was lost

The Discord wasn't official, it was just endorsed. This is the work of a fanboy

[–] Midnitte@beehaw.org 3 points 6 hours ago

Is it not? They sure seem to promote it as such.

The article used the word "Microslop" thirteen times. I guess the author really wants search engines and bots to associate "Microslop" with "Microsoft". Apparently Microslop is a term for Microsoft products, or perhaps even Microslop is an intrinsic property of Microsoft.

...'kay, I'll stop it now.

It's rather curious how MS babbles so much about "AI", but its Discord server uses such a simple filter that can be evaded by ~~0N3 0F 7H3 0LD357 700L5 0F 7H3 1N73RN37 5H17P0573R~~ one of the oldest tools of the internet shitposter: leetspeak. It's almost like it knows it's selling a dud.

Also, I guess this thing run so far they don't even care about the Streisand effect any more.

Oh boy, can't wait for people to post microslop comments even more.
