MODERATORS
That's a weird way for a station to react.
Almost like they don't actually wanna talk about real problems.
Of course they don't.
The only news they care about talking of is:
PEOPLE ARE EXPLOITED! PEOPLE HAVE NO SUSTAINABLE INCOMES! LET'S TALK ABOUT TRUMP FOR A BIT ALL WEEK, EVERY WEEK! OH NO! ANOTHER CHILD DEAD TODAY! OH NO! AN ACTOR EVERYONE LOVED DIED TODAY! THE WEATHER IS BAD! RECORD LEVELS!
But anything other than that cycle of bullshit and more, can't talk about that. Them media mongul overlords will crack the whips again! Can't have that!
Because Donald Trump... the Dow! The Dow right now, is over... THE DOW IS OVER FIFTY THOUSAND DO- I don't know why you're laughing, I hear you're a great stock-trader, as I hear, Raskin... the DOW is over fifty thousand, right now...
She visibly flinches when he mentions private equity. Its like the news station has repeat training classes for employees on banned topics.
He gets every award out there. This is amazing.
Private equity:
- Rental buildings are bought by these companies and filled (or not) for Air BNB, luxury housing, etc. This leaves no affordable housing.
- They price fix the shit out of these locations through rental software.
- Prices rarely go down, and if they do, it's not much.
- They push for a building frenzy so they can park their money and rent out the bottom floor. Doesn't matter if some homes are empty if the price doesn't go down and you're price fixing.
- Won't let you work from home because it fucks with all of the above.
- Only beholden to the people who are in the club, they can do what they want with no repercussions.
All of the executives now probably frothing at the mouth over it.
"How dare...how dare he blame us!"
Unfortunately they don’t think about us at all.
They only see us a means for exploitation and profit. We may as well be dairy cows to them.
We are "human resources".
Those executives are gonna track him down & recruit him & MK Ultra him & add him to their puppet collection. He's too wise & woke to be running around free in society.
I don’t have any skin in this fight, and the dude is totally right…. But I’d bet a few bucks that the reporter was moving on from the voxpop because the two of them would have probably had a quick chat before the live cross to gauge his ability to be succinct and hold an opinion, and it could have started to go in a direction that may have thrown her. I would also take a guess that she probably felt that he was going to go waaaay of script and say something that could put the network in hot water. Fuck her in the pussy, Trump is a pedo. I like turtles…. There’s a bit of risk management for a live cross that she would have been mindful of.
But then again… who knows?
The same private equity that owns the houses, owns the TV media.
