Respect the people who belong here. If you're confused what that means, here's a minor primer:
No asking to date trans people or otherwise meet up with them. No treating being transgender as a mental illness or as being lesser in any way. No arguing with trans people about their identity. No arguing with trans people about their vulnerabilities, including anything related to sports, laws, etc. This includes anything else that the mod team deems disrespectful.
Posts should be related to the defense, advocacy, and restoration of LGBTQ+ rights.
This Community is for news regarding, as well as the discussion of, anti LGBTQ+ laws, hate crimes, and propaganda.

The Democrats need to focus on taxing the rich. Anything else is a distraction. No offense to any who feel like their particular status is under attack. It’s under attack by billionaires, and they’re doing it to keep us (non-billionaires) divided into two camps.

Like the Republicans have ever cared about being normal. They're the weirdest motherfuckers there are. But they're proof-positive that if you give something concrete to vote for, that people will vote for you, even if it's fucking stupid. Maybe instead of campaigning on "we're not them" the Democrats can pick something to fight for; actually making an affirmative case for something rather than defaulting to the mean of the mythical "average voter" that makes no sense in reality anyway.

SCHUMER and the dinos wants to keep the status quo, what better way then to have repulicans win. DNC is designed to keep any "left" leaning candidate from center right from winning, and the RIGHT wingers have to be the antagonist, to create a problem that keeps DNC elected and not "left" of SCHUMERs.

If you genuinely want to shut republicans up about trans issues I'm pretty sure countering with "why are you so fixated on transgender people? Are you a chaser or something?" Would go a long way.
