RULES

  1. Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
  2. Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
  3. Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
  4. Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world

Lots of nightmares from my new medication, and some random panic attacks, hoping soon it settles down.

It's been pretty shit ngl. My mental health only seems to get worse. I did however go to dinner with my sister who I haven't seen in a while, so that was nice. Also, I bought a new monitor. Still sad though.

Struggling with my job, mental health, and finances. Things are very difficult right now.

Job hunting so it's stressful and disheartening but could be worse

My week has been fine, thanks.

Work-wise: bossman, who is quite a bit of a micromanager, took a week-long vacation. I think you guys can guess what happened lol (almost no one showed up in the office... well the new hire & the lab manager did, also I still came in a few days but anyway)

Also I am fairly certain that the root of my sickness for the past 6-7 weeks was mostly psychological, so I've been trying to go outside & enjoy life a bit more. So far it seems like it's working

Too much shit, not enough time. I need each day to last like 2 weeks to get through half of what I need to do, I need at least three times the energy to get through one third of what I want to do. There's never enough time, it suuuucks

It's okay enough, nothing abjectly wrong in my personal life. My depression has been annoying though, anhedonia through the roof. I've been going to bed by 6 because I just don't want to do anything. I gotta figure something out.

My dryer stopped working, but I have a multimeter and narrowed the problem down to a fuse that I can easily replace. So: damp but looking up.

Besides a bunch of heat-related issues, my week is going really nice.

[–] robocall@lemmy.world 2 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Are you freezing cold? Because it is soooo cold where I live right now. abnormally extra cold!

[–] lvxferre@mander.xyz 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Nope — I'm too hot, it's Summer here. (South America.) My feet are slightly swollen, they always get this way when it's too hot for too many consecutive days; I don't feel in the mood to do anything serious; my sleep schedule went haywire; so goes on.

On the lighter side of the things I prepared some homemade strawberry ice cream and it rocks!

[–] robocall@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago

Oh wow! It doesn't matter what temperature it is, I'm always ready for I've cream! And strawberry is a great choice for flavor!
