The patch is an image used by Ukrainian rap group Nord Division, I couldn't find much info about them but apparently they are fighters from the Kraken Regiment according to an unverified bio on genius.com

Yeah out of context it's nonsense, I'm pretty sure it's in reference to a Ukrainian Olympic athlete who was punished for having a helmet adorned with some sort of memorial for soldiers in Ukraine, I don't know the details of that

Vladyslav Heraskevych. It was a stunt specifically designed to violate the rules, so there would be broad global media coverage of smol bean uWu Ukraine being bullied by the Olympics on behalf of big bad Russia. He was offered numerous compromises that would still let him show off his helmet, but declined all of them. The IOC's hard line was that he can wear it before his runs, after his runs, and any other time he wants, but the second he hits the track, no political decorations allowed.

Definitely there are many people that aren't believers in an ideology like Nazism within Ukrainian forces, the true believers are usually the smaller number even in many societies that tolerate fascism, I've personally known so-called socialists and communists that support the Ukrainian forces. It's just funny how it really is pretty often on Reddit posts that there is some sign visible, it's like the bots or whatever promotes the posts to the front page specifically push the ones with those 'subtle' nods.
