Hoping there's a kiosk or something at the nearby shopping centre doing gift wrapping for valentines day for like a 1 dollar donation or something
You have to be kidding. Even the paper costs a bundle nowadays. And gift wrapping is a fairly skilled art, even with squared paper, good cutting tools and good ribbon skills. I used to do Myer xmas wrapping temp jobs for a few years- it was a madhouse and extremely stressful. Even a charity would have to charge for the paper and ribbon etc. to make any money at all.

Went to aldi hoping there's magnesium salts. Nope. I swear when I see them next I'm gonna buy 5 bags of them. That'll be 15kg of the stuff. I'll make it my mission to never run out of the stuff again.

If you’re looking for epsom salts they have it at Coles, Woolies and CW if that’s any help. Unfortunately they’re only 1kg packets though and not bulk (which seems to be what you want to buy)
Never run out of… currently there’s one unscented soap/body cleanser bar that I don’t have problems with so I hope I never run out of that.
Otherwise I hope I never run out of luck.

Tried Runescape but I don’t like the controls or the camera and probably don’t have the patience to faff around with a clunky older style game.
Debating getting rid of this ukulele because while I could definitely try to tune it as a bass just for lols there are some reasons (explained but I don’t fully understand yet) that it wouldn’t work very well. And the fret is so short that by the time I get to the base there’s not a lot of room for my thumb and it collapses backwards. I want a mini practice guitar instead but let’s be honest - I still wouldn’t practice.
Ordered 2 pairs of new pants I hoped would be comfy but after trying them on I might like to return them for a different size.
It would be another instrument but bass ukeleles are really fun. Not the baritones that are just a bit bigger, proper bass ukeleles with the big rubbery strings. They're easy to fret and sound nice.
And they pack a punch when plugged in since they have a built in pickup. Size doesn't matter and you could fit in the mix live with the right gear

Honestly surprised I'm heading into work for the fifth time this week without taking a day off, it started so crappy and I felt like shit. It turned around. Plus I only got about 5 hours of interrupted sleep last night. Feeling surprisingly not bad today. Still hoping there is capacity for them to let me go home early 🙏

Melbcat has been requesting treats so I gave her some anti-nausea meds and tried her on the wet food again. She ate it! She’s also been cuddling more so I’m hoping she’s starting to feel better again. (She has been seen by a vet.)
Bill and Ted had breakfast yesterday but meowed so pitifully I gave them a little second breakfast.
Then Miss Seagoon asked me if they had any breakfast as they were meowing at her. They were trying for a third breakfast!

Took the girlfriend to the Bluestone restaurant in Epping and it's a nice spot. I was surprised by how much space is out the back.
You go out the back of the restaurant and there's this outdoor area with a bunch of original farm houses and stuff. Because it's a mismatch of old buildings and paths go off in whatever direction it feels like you're in the starting area of Dark Souls: Australia.
There's even a big hole in the middle of the place for that complete Dark Souls Hub feel.
