The man: I've just fed the dog
Me: I've fed him already
The dog: I love you guys.
Tried to self medicate my sad mood with cheese but now I have a belly ache :(
I hope you feel better soon.
Quiet night tonight. Finish a song I'm working on, play some ipad games.
Tomorrow night is where it's at lol
Took the girlfriend to the Bluestone restaurant in Epping and it's a nice spot. I was surprised by how much space is out the back.
You go out the back of the restaurant and there's this outdoor area with a bunch of original farm houses and stuff. Because it's a mismatch of old buildings and paths go off in whatever direction it feels like you're in the starting area of Dark Souls: Australia.
There's even a big hole in the middle of the place for that complete Dark Souls Hub feel.

Totally spot on with the aesthetic
The custard tart has come out of the oven, it puffed up really high, it is now deflating and cooling.

Shut up. Mr Seagoon is a very lucky man.
π It's my first ever. Delicious. Eggy. Very tender. Nice vanilla taste. Next time a better crust and more nutmeg.
That looks yummm.
Have you ever done Impossible Pie? That's a very easy way to do a nice dessert pie and you can play with the flavourings a lot, and add stewed fruit at will. I recommend the Women's Weekly recipe or the PWMU cookbook one. Both are good. The wonders of specific gravity means it makes it's own crust which I really think is polite of it.
That looks delectable, now I'm craving something sweet.
Every damn year, this day sneaks up on me. I should have taken it off work, but I always forget to ask.
I donβt know whether Mum would be proud of me, but I hope so
β€οΈ
We're proud of you, if that helps.
Reminder that you're doing amazing β€οΈ the fact that you're alive is one in a billion.
Googled it - The chances of you being alive right now are astronomically small, often cited as 1 in 10 to the 2.6 millionth power (1 in (10^{2,685,000})), meaning a 1 followed by nearly 2.7 million zeros, making your existence a near-impossible statistical miracle, requiring an unbroken chain of ancestral survival and reproduction over billions of years. This calculation considers the odds of your specific parents meeting, their sperm and egg combining with the right DNA, and this happening across all your ancestors, all the way back to single-celled organisms. Iβm not a mum but Iβm proud of you
Parents aren't always proud of some of the things their children do but are always proud of who they are. π«β€οΈ
Went to aldi hoping there's magnesium salts. Nope. I swear when I see them next I'm gonna buy 5 bags of them. That'll be 15kg of the stuff. I'll make it my mission to never run out of the stuff again.
Apart from toilet paper and petrol, what's the one thing you hope to never run out of?
I never wanna run out of Seagoon
Nawwww
π
Adhd meds and cat food lol
If youβre looking for epsom salts they have it at Coles, Woolies and CW if thatβs any help. Unfortunately theyβre only 1kg packets though and not bulk (which seems to be what you want to buy)
Never run out ofβ¦ currently thereβs one unscented soap/body cleanser bar that I donβt have problems with so I hope I never run out of that.
Otherwise I hope I never run out of luck.
Edit: also cat food and money
Yeah I know but aldi have 3kg bags for $10 and I go through a lot. I love that shit.
Itβs truly multipurpose
Pears soap. Preferably the blue and green ones, but I can live with the tan ones. Only kind of soap I like. Fortunately you can buy in bulk.
Peanut oil.
The will to live.
Chicken nuggets.
Melbcat has been requesting treats so I gave her some anti-nausea meds and tried her on the wet food again. She ate it! Sheβs also been cuddling more so Iβm hoping sheβs starting to feel better again. (She has been seen by a vet.)
Date Number Two in the calendar with Nerd.
I am taking him to the museum π
Obligatory joke about not touching the artwork π
Shush π

have a great time
Hoping there's a kiosk or something at the nearby shopping centre doing gift wrapping for valentines day for like a 1 dollar donation or something
You have to be kidding. Even the paper costs a bundle nowadays. And gift wrapping is a fairly skilled art, even with squared paper, good cutting tools and good ribbon skills. I used to do Myer xmas wrapping temp jobs for a few years- it was a madhouse and extremely stressful. Even a charity would have to charge for the paper and ribbon etc. to make any money at all.
Pantry moths gah..
And thus begins operation hunt n' purge.
I read that as panty moths and thought that's what happens when I'm not getting any.

Americans losing their minds because a US brand launched an AU exclusive clear lip gloss is both hilarious and terrifying.
???
Honestly surprised I'm heading into work for the fifth time this week without taking a day off, it started so crappy and I felt like shit. It turned around. Plus I only got about 5 hours of interrupted sleep last night. Feeling surprisingly not bad today. Still hoping there is capacity for them to let me go home early π
