You have to be kidding. Even the paper costs a bundle nowadays. And gift wrapping is a fairly skilled art, even with squared paper, good cutting tools and good ribbon skills. I used to do Myer xmas wrapping temp jobs for a few years- it was a madhouse and extremely stressful. Even a charity would have to charge for the paper and ribbon etc. to make any money at all.

There was a place in The Block? arcade doing gold coin xmas wrapping last year. My mate got all (x17) his family presents wrapped there for $20.

My girlfriend and I did it one time. I don't remember how much it cost though because hardly anyone came. It's not like it was the Christmas period for wrapping presents
