After the dumpster fire that was the Hobbit trilogy I don‘t really care. Even if this is his last role. The LotR trilogy will forever be the best piece of fantasy cinema brought to life but something like it will never be accomplished again with all the money and effects in the world.

After the dumpster fire that is The Hobbit Trilogy AND the roaring dumpster fire that is Rings of Power AND the smoldering dumpster fire that is The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim I am done with all things Lord of the Rings.

Also when you look at pretty much everything Peter Jackson made post LOTR it is clear that the trilogy was the perfect storm of excellence that all came together to make what you call the best preace of fantasy cinema to ever come to life.

I was just talking to my kid about this, he hated the hobbit movies.

But I put the lotr extended 4k on and he comes running.

He said “I only can tell it’s an old movie because you’re old”

Things have certainly changed around here. I remember when this was all farm land as far the eye could see. Old man Peabody owned all of this. He had this crazy idea about breeding pine trees.

They've been talking about it forever, but it looks like it's actually finally happening now. There's money to be made I suppose.

Yeah I will not go see this and only commit to pirating it if it gets very good reviews.

I love Ian, but he sends to forget his own sadness of acting against a green screen ball.
