The Cat Distribution System (CDS) is all knowing.

The adoption has already occurred

[–] MrShankles@reddthat.com 43 points 17 hours ago (4 children)

My wife and I were adopted last month (I'm pretty sure). We tried finding her home on the social media sites as well as put up picture-flyers around town, still nobody claiming her. So now we have an appointment for vaccinations and a spay, and we'll go from there

Cat tax

GORGEOUS coat. We scooped up a stray tortico recently as well. We found her a home but it turned out she was pregnant so we did not escape without an additional cat.

That kitty is a real beauty

[–] RebekahWSD@lemmy.world 5 points 16 hours ago

What a lovely fine cat! Tell her she's very smart finding some good humans!

[–] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 5 points 16 hours ago

The human is the one being adopted, of course.

The terrified little cat who showed up starving at my back door a bit over a year ago

Mizu fairly recently

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 7 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

Mizu was just method acting. It worked great, didn't it?

[–] dethedrus@lemmy.dbzer0.com 8 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

Either that or she's actually 3 squirrels in a cat suit. At least one of whom is completely whacked out on meth.

I'm fairly certain it's the latter.

You can’t prove nothin’!

[–] dethedrus@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 16 hours ago (1 children)

Maybe?

I've never seen a cat with a twitchier tail... it seems to move along multiple, almost contradictory points of articulation and appears agitated when she's clearly quite happy.

She seems completely hammered on catnip multiple times during the day... but quite literally only had access to a scratching box with it for the first time yesterday.

[–] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 2 points 16 hours ago

Well, it’s a compelling case . . .

The cat distribution system at work

[–] tiny_hedgehog@piefed.social 37 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

This man is legally obliged to keep the kitty now.

[–] CouncilOfFriends@slrpnk.net 3 points 15 hours ago

He's still trapped in that chair to this day

[–] Zorsith@lemmy.blahaj.zone 24 points 18 hours ago (1 children)

Its a good spot for a cat! Once it gets bigger you can recline and take a big comfy nap

[–] garbagebagel@lemmy.world 13 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

My saddest day was when my little girl outgrew her sleeping spot on my chest. Now I just lie on my side and she is the little spoon in my arms.

[–] Zorsith@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 16 hours ago

It can also migrate to the shoulder, draped across the chest.

[–] ickplant@lemmy.world 24 points 18 hours ago

I’m not the OOP, but I also hope he keeps the kitten.

~~Beer belly~~ cat bed

[–] RizzRustbolt@lemmy.world 5 points 16 hours ago

Reason #6 to have the tummy.

[–] Diddlydee@feddit.uk 3 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

Whilst that's cool, maybe someone is missing their very young kitten.

[–] Sergio@piefed.social 6 points 17 hours ago

Clearly the best way to advertise the missing kitten was to make this meme.
