Funny how the motto has quietly shifted from "never again" to "you don't count."

I know it's been noted before, but this sure is a succinct and blatant example.

What a joke of a museum. Perverting and using the Holocaust as a cudgel. Sick.

exploiting the Holocaust is deeply offensive

Their M.O. is exploiting the Holocaust for political gain.

Just Jewish Supremacist things.

what does "never again" even mean then?

[–] footfaults@lemmygrad.ml 4 points 1 day ago

Never again to us

The little latino boy being abducted from his mother and father has NOTHING to do with the little jewish girl being abducted from her mother and father.

[–] Pentacat@hexbear.net 17 points 2 days ago

They’re Jewish Supremacists, so to them it doesn’t. Unfortunately, we live in a country that abides by the Zionist party line.

If we had leftist media that writes like capitalist media we'd see the title

"Holocaust Museum says ICE are not targeting people based on race in statement reinforcing Donald Trump"

It's offensive to kill my neighbors in the streets, to go door to door looking for undesirables, to send my neighbors to internment camps known for torture in foreign lands, to descriminate against people based on their skin tone.

Those are offensive. What is not offensive is drawing parallels to the past to help people understand what is going on and to encourage preparedness and action.

especially as antisemitism surges.

Oh like disparaging Jews for having a different holy day of the week? The thing the US border patrol commander did? Or is it only antisemitism when someone acknowledges the humanity of Palestinians?

Federally funded and organized paramilitary are rounding up minorities and many are hiding in their houses to avoid being disappeared. This is entirely different from Nazism because it isn't targeting jews. It seems like Nazism and Anti-Semitism wouldnt be different words unless there was a reason, but unlike these sick fucks I apply meaning to words instead of cynically manipulating language to my advantage. However to those of us who are capable or willing to acknowledge what words mean we can see that Anti Semitism is but one aspect of nazism and despite the focus at the timez it was a focus that was of the time, having an ethnic scapegoat is the true methodology and it doesn't matter who that is, jews were just the easy target at the time. Nazis. Is absolutely not exclusively anti Semitic and as we can see currently is even capable of being Jewish. Nazism in the abstract can be done by anyone to anyone when the conditions exist and people are willing

nazism, now with idpol. it's the newest tech fresh from israel, and it's all the rage with zionists and groypers alike.

It seriously is like they want people to be antisemites. Even if I was a completely cynical actor who was only concerned with reducing antisemitism for some pragmatic reason that has nothing to do with the humanity that is the basis for most people wanting to reduce antisemitism, I'd still see this shit as a slam-dunk for furthering my cause because it legitimizes narratives against antisemitism to relate it to modern persecution just as it legitimizes objections to modern persecution to relate it to the Holocaust. By saying "no, actually antisemitism is special and worse than your problems" and insinuating that the modern advocates for other causes making these comparisons are basically doing antisemitism by talking about learning from the crime of the Holocaust, obviously any principled anti-antisemite would conclude that I'm an asshole, but people who are less engaged and less interested in the topic might just believe that I'm representing "the official Jewish attitude" on the subject (itself a ridiculous idea, but something zionists present all the time) and draw much worse conclusions.

[–] miz@hexbear.net 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

the zionist entity has since its inception deliberately pushed anti-semitism to encourage migration to help them win their demographic war of apartheid and genocide agains the Palestinians

[–] Wakmrow@hexbear.net 2 points 1 day ago

Yeah but this is wildly short sighted obviously. The day the US stops sending weapons they are fucked fucked.

It seriously is like they want people to be antisemites.

They do! Supremacy ideologies thrive on and even require a victimhood complex. Zionists are Jewish supremacists and I know it's nothing new to anyone here to point out the immediate material reasons Zionists especially have for drumming up hatred of Jewish people.

[–] BodyBySisyphus@hexbear.net 15 points 2 days ago

They later clarified with an explanation that it is okay to compare mild criticism of Jews who support the Zionist genocide to pogroms and blood libel.
