The GOP is backing him on all of his insanity.

The Democrats are wringing their hands and blathering about the next election.

Congress, the Senate, and the Supreme Court are all either actively supporting him or not taking any action to stop him.

The ENTIRE US GOVERNMENTAL STRUCTURE IS SUPPORTING A WAR CRIMINAL IN HIS ATTEMPS TO START WORLD WAR THREE.

You just noticed this pattern now?

[–] swordgeek@lemmy.ca 9 points 3 days ago (2 children)

No, I've been screaming it from the rooftops for ages.

But the number of times I hear people say "once Trump dies..." or "at the next election..." and we need people to understand that Trump is only the noisiest head of the hydra. Removing Trump won't end the problem.

Precisely, the US behaves like a depraved empire in decline because it is one.

[–] hoserhobbes@lemmy.ca 1 points 3 days ago

No it won't immediately solve everything, but it is also a necessary first step. There are lot of people saying that in a "might as well do nothing" kind of way.

People should understand by now that Trump is some special flavour of insane, but if he kicked the bucket tomorrow the entire mechanism that gives him power will still exist.

If anything they might be less erratic and get their agenda pushed through quicker.

Carney put forward a thesis about the state of the world in his speech, then Trump stepped up and proved Carney's point...

Pretty much.

He sounds extremely unwell.

Hopefully it's terminal, and fast

Oh, and painful.

Some physio doctor guy says it looks like 2 to 4 months left until the US collapses, well the physio says 2 to 4 months left until Trump kicks it.

I believe the US is falling now but soon after the black smoke comes out of the chimney of the White House (or however they announce presidents have died) the country will really go to poop.

He keeps making threats, and then seems pissed off that we're acting like we believe him.

[–] yogthos@lemmy.ml 5 points 3 days ago

It's basically a test. If you try to appease him as the Europeans do then he just keeps taking chunks out of you, and if you hold firm then he goes looking for a weaker target. Notice there's not much talk of any trade war with China anymore. China told the US how it's gonna be and Trump backed off.

[–] JustADrone@lemmy.ca 2 points 3 days ago

if they were all just TACO threats, they could be ignored. But when he actually follows through on some (Venezuela), we have to take every single threat seriously.

Sounds like the old child rapist has a full diaper.

Also, he's one to talk about freebies. This tub of orange mayonnaise has never worked an honest day in his life. Any money he has has been given to him or he has stolen.

The only plans I have to visit the US are when he dies. I'm going to go down and take the largest Taco Bell shit on his grave.

There is no shortage of arrogance among the current US administration.

Arguably Canada lives despite the US.

Ok American people, It’s really time to impeach! The US has influence and power mainly from forged relationships with other countries and allies. In some sense, “you NEED us and everyone else!” The damage is done!

[–] ABCatMom@lemmy.ca 1 points 2 days ago

Because impeachment worked so well last time?

[–] yogthos@lemmy.ml 2 points 3 days ago

Who do you think elected Trump exactly?
