They realized years ago that their agenda is best implemented at the provincial level because they could just defund things they didn’t like. Kenny moved from federal to provincial for that reason.

doing preventative maintenance on a planned schedule is always cheaper in the long run. except when these clowns run on "reducing waste and overspending" until they're elected and have the great idea to invest in fixing things for once (at a 3x premium because it's rushed as a result of a catastrophic failure…)

This coordinated war on bike lanes sure is curious. All of a sudden, different cities, states, provinces are all working to remove bike lanes. Almost like there’s someone coordinating it all.

The culture of western Canada isn't that different - we have a handful of Libertarian Karens with some mysterious funding/coordination backing them.

 

I have a family member who has gone down some internet rabbit holes and is now sharing endless links to videos on Northern Perspective. He’s describing it as “revealing the truth about corruption in Canada that they don’t want you to know about” but the YouTube channel looks like truthy disinformation? What’s going on with Northern Perspective? Who’s behind it? And how do I help my family member?
