The Sopranos. First watch is can be tense and strssful. On second watch it's a dark comedy.
It kind of feels like watching family guy. In the sense that family guy invokes a feeling like your a secret 5th character as the boys sit down for beers at the clam, The sopranos feels like you're hanging out with the gang at the bing.
That shows...it makes me way too hungry. I cant watch it when all the Itslian food is like a seperate omnipresent character
The old Top Gear with Clarkson, Hammond, and May. I feel weird watching it because Clarkson especially has become such an insufferable reactionary, and old shows really go hard on climate change skepticism. But when it's at it's best, I find watch three friends having a fun trip together to be very relaxing.
2 Days 1 Night.
Anything on daytime TV. Not sure if Maury or Jerry Springer are still on, but yeah I used to have it in the background during my WFH days...
Not really shows but βScary or chilling moments/stuffβ kinda YouTube channels. I could veg out on the couch for most of the day watching those, but I definitely recognize how macabre they are and several friends have straight up requested I play something else on many occasions.
Farscape, The Magicians, The Librarians, Leverage, Eureka, Warehouse 13, Fringe, Lost Girl, Sanctuary, Gravity Falls, Archer, Legends of Tomorrow, The Good Place, Firefly (obviously}, Lucifer, Grimm, Buffy/Angel, The Venture Bros, Wynonna Earp.

Pass on naltrexone to others you stumble into who may have more currently active problems, naltrexone is so underutilized
It's a prescription drug where I live, but if I ever have anyone who would need to hear it, I'll mention it in case their doctor didn't prescribe it!
Baclofen also too is great as additional med if they still want an anxiolytic and its also a possible alcohol substitute that some french doctor developed his own alcoholism cure he wrote about

Why do you think they relax you?
Fringe is just a fun sci-fi show that really leans into the fun of it, and so itβs easy to just watch and enjoy even when theyβre investigating something insane.
As the The Expanse, itβs an excellent world builder and futuristic saga. I like to watch and see if I catch anything new in the background, and enjoy the epic space battles. (As an aside, the book series is phenomenal also. First three books are $28 at Amazonβ¦. Can almost certainly find them at your local library too!)
