On the subject of copilot. The advertisements in my windows OS for copilot (now that is a sentence that I wouldnt have expected a decade ago) is advertising that copilot is 'optimized for the English language' which as a Dutch person amuses me, as I read that as 'this system is bad at foreign languages'. (It is prob worse, saw others use chatgpt for things in Dutch, and it just wildly hallucinates on things, esp things related to culture, for example when asked about the 67 thing, it made up a story that is was created by rappers in Amsterdam(or Rotterdam, not that the city matters), and created a whole story that it was a new Dutch thing, very odd).

sure... pay me

I'll get trained in copilot

I won't use it, but I'll take the PAID training for it so I can better understand how garbage it is

The fuck is there to train?
Write prompt, be very descriptive, hit send.
Dogshit came out? Reword and hit send again. Put your coins in the slot and hit the button until the prize comes out 🎰

Desperation on both sides. Microsoft for their crap, and the IT dept buyers of the license who need to validate to higher up they didn't throw money in the toilet.

CEOs everywhere: I heard Microsoft are giving out paid training, didn’t you say you wanted to learn something a few years ago? Let’s pursue this!

For Microsoft, it's probably worth the hemorrhaging costs to try and save the much larger investment they've already made in and stop the plummet of its use.
