Wow, this sucks a LOT. I love Reason’s tactile approach to patching and there’s nothing else quite like it.

If you use proprietary software, this is what you sign up for.
Makes sense for them to sell out.
I really loved Reason, but there's only so much new stuff that can be added meaningfully. They're way past that point and the subscription based pricing is a huge turn off.
I think they're going to use it as they're base to build their AI tools on top of so that it connects all the cables and stuff using reason as like a VST and then you can go in and adjust it later to your own liking if you want to tweak it.
Thats what I'd do.
