What is she on about? I was lectured about the horrors of socialism in every history class from middle school through highschool. Mind you, some teachers did kind of wink, wink, nudge, nudge that we might benifit from additional reading and they just because something was on an AP test didn't mean it was true gospel, but still, the most open radical histories I was exposed to in school prior to college was all libertarian theory. Most of which I thought was complete horseshit. Hell even in college most of my coming around to communism came from self-study and then interrogating my history professors there and realizing that I knew way way more about the subject than they did.
