I finished watching Defiance. Do I recommend it? No, it doesn't hold up. If you want to watch SyFy channel shows from that era you are better off with Killjoys and Z Nation I watched old episodes of RuPaul's Drag race. I had never watched the show before and it's pretty fun, I can see why it has so many seasons. It's better than a lot of reality tv shows out there
Nobody wants this - a surprisingly nice rom-com series with Kristen Bell and Adam Brody. I checked it out because I really loved some other series with Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars and The Good Place). It's not very deep or anything, but it's entertaining and (so far) seems to actively avoid some clichées.
Pluribus - just watched the first episode. It's spookier than expected and I'm curious how this series can work out, given the premise.
Nobody Wants this is fantastic and super entertaining. Didn't quite like season 2 as much but is very well done. All the Actors and characters are great.
I just finished the series and omg it was so much fun. I am so happy the Duffer Brothers “stuck the landing”.
Hello, I'm the other lemmy who doesn't hate Stranger Things.
Yeah the hate boner people have for this excellent show is comical.
While I definitely enjoyed S5 and think the ending managed to thread the needle in providing a suitable ending to two different camps, it did feel comparatively rushed and not quite as polished and fun as S3 & S4.
Some of the articles I’ve since read did touch on a lot of the ‘darker’ content being left on the cutting room floor - so that does go some of the way to explaining the pacing.
But overall, it’s one of the few shows that will definitely go into my annual rewatch rotation!
Just finished Pluribus and it was really good. The first episode is kinda slow, but after that it was great all the way to the end.
Culinary Class Wars S2. Not as good as the first one, but still somewhat entertaining. I just don’t like how the dramatic editing makes the show so much longer than it is. You can easily cut it down to half the number of episodes or reduce episode lengths by 20 mins if you remove all the overly dramatic/suspense editing.
Started Task this week. Watched the first episode and enjoying it so far.
Watched Pluribus and Stranger Things as well.
Excited for Shrinking new season coming up.
