I've gone to the theater about a dozen times so far this year and only during Project Hail Mary in the full IMAX theater on opening weekend was some teen on his phone for a few minutes towards the end and got kicked out. Every other time everyone has been respectful.
Myself and my wife go to the theater about once a month, sometimes twice depending on the release schedule to see all the new horror movies and things like The Odyssey and Disclosure Day and the theaters both opening weekend and later are mostly full every single time. I live in a small college town not even a big city. Sure numbers are down but it's not a ghost town people seem to think.
I run Fedora at work that utilizes smart cards and socks proxies, several vpns and private certificates and it works like a charm.
Thought this was coming out earlier in the year but excited for this season. Show is well done and Alan Ritchson is great as Reacher.
I really enjoyed it. Probably will need a second viewing soon though maybe wait to watch it at home. I don't have a 70MM IMAX nearby or an Alamo Drafthouse unfortunately.
I bet most of the players were gassed towards the end but putting on like 6 defenders in the last 20+ minutes while only 1 goal up is crazy. subbing off all their fast wide players and not putting any on until 85' is also wild. The players didn't defend well on the pitch but those subs were nonsensical.
I'm in the US and for certain people this could also be DINKmaxxing, this is what my wife and I do most weekends.
It's not a DNC line is the truth while we're in this terrible two party system with no ranked choice voting. Ironically Sanders has been pushing for ranked choice voting and fighting against the two party system.
It became that way shortly after it blew up a year or so ago. If you find some reviewers you like or have similar taste, just seeing their reviews on top and browsing their lists makes the site a lot more friendly.
There are certain TV series on letterboxd now, though not sure you can filter for them specifically. The only way I've been able to tell us runtime being several hours.
For example Pam & Tommy (2022) is a limited series on there plus Lessons in Chemistry (2023).

It is still an issue that is easier on plex which is why I run both because I can't setup and troubleshoot vpns for all my family that has access. Plex is much easier on that way. Jellyfin is great but look what you need to mimic a fraction of plexs power 😆
