That's neo-liberalism in a nutshell i feel. rather than obscuring the contradictions and critique of the system, you just overwhelm people with the information so organised resistance is fragmented.
Perhaps a lot of it is also Capitalist Realism; dump everything on you and declare the system impervious to revolution and hope that everyone believes you. It's an effective strategy, either way, but fundamentally you cannot ever hope to hold history in a stagnant or "end" state.
Dialectical materialism is always there, the base and superstructure are always in dialogue in the endless dance. Eventually, the bourgeoisie always sells itself the rope to which to hang itself.
