Inspired by the post about cold-war era holiday specials, what creepy cartoons or claymations scarred you for life?

For me it was Twas the Night Before Christmas . The animation was too goofy and I swear my Megalophobia comes partly from the clock tower in that show. I don't know why but it made me so uneasy that even now large clock towers make me feel weird.

The abominable snowman in a Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer stop motion animation

The Polar Express.

The setting is vast, and cold, and dark, and lonely, and the mocap animation gave me an eerie uncanny valley vibe.

I’m so glad stylized animation came back after that in the 2010s onward. Prep and Landing is one of my 21st century favorites 😄

We just watched it for the first time in forever. My wife and I were both like, "Yeah. This movie is weird."

Didn't really scar me & it is subtitled, but Rare Exports is awesome.
Edit: Not animated either - I don't read good.
