It looks anything but vivid. I agree with other comments I've seen about how dark and monotone it is. This is supposed to happen in Greece and the Mediterranean, not with the Vikings in Scandinavia. It should be brighter and more colorful. I also saw comments that pointed out they are in a viking long ship, not a Greek one.

After years of war
That is a very clean and polished armour you got there, Mr. Hero. It's not breaking my immersion or anything.
What in the ancient Batman is that helmet?!
Yeah, it look terrible.
the trailer brings the myth to life
WTF
Sounds like it was taken directly from a press release.
I’ve always liked the Odyssey and I’m a huge Nolan fan so I’ve been really stoked about this. Watching the trailer I felt a bit underwhelmed though.
Yeah, it felt like a very flat take on the material. Like, Odysseus is an archetypal trickster figure, he's supposed to be something of a smirking shit (Ulysses Everett McGill?), at least from time to time, and one who creates as many problems for himself as he solves by thinking he's the smartest guy at the agora. This trailer just looks like The Revenant meets 300. Hope the actual movie is much better.
"Vivid" it says...
