Interesting. I didn't know the term laser was an abbreviation.
Not many people do. Also, there is a device known as a maser that's used in astronomy, which is microwave amplification through stimulated emission of radiation.
There is also wazer, but it has really nothing to do with laser.
That could be the name of a venue. Given it’s capitalised it may be a proper noun.
