Without spoiling anything, what do you think of the pacing of Pluribus?

Too slow?

Just right?

Love it so far. We’ll see if it pays off. If I were to guess I’d say it will.

It is slow, but I don't find it to be a problem.

The fact that we have two episodes to go concerns me a bit. I think there is a lot more story to explore. So from a pacing standpoint I'd like to move forward and learn more, but until I see the full season play out it's hard to say if the pacing is actually a problem.

I recall reading that the plan for the show is 4(ish) seasons, so I'm confident that the overall show has a plan.

I know watching Better Call Saul I felt that certain plot points or seasons were just a repeat or retreading. I've had friends ask when BCS gets "good". On a recent rewatch... It was all good. The parts that were slower I really appreciated.

So with all that, I'm definitely in until the end of this season. Unless something completely out of character/story happens in the remaining episodes, I'm probably in for season two.

At the moment I trust Gilligan and team. He's put together two of the greatest shows ever made. It's possible this show won't hit that mark, but at the moment I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Something is going to happen to add tension, mark my words.. it’s just been world building so far.

Absolutely. We need some form of season end that teases the future.

Speculating, but spoilers up to episode 7

I think it's going to be up to Carol to save the world.

Manousos and Carol are going to meet, probably in the last episode. Manousos will want to kill the hive. Carol can not be alone again. Carol and Manousos will meet everyone else not part of the hive, at least one of whom will now be part of the hive, proving they can add others.

Manousos will learn that the hive will likely die (or severely reduce their numbers) if nothing is done.

Carol will offer to help the hive, to keep them alive she will do the things they can not. They will likely refuse (for now).

Next episode is Carol & Zosia falling in "love".

Next season is Carol vs Manousos.

No complaints. They're really good at ending when we want to know more.

I trust in what they are trying to do. People also complained about the Severance pacing. AppleTV has more shows that require patience. I am curious how they plan to have this last many seasons, but I said the same about Better Call Saul.

The first couple episodes alone were a very cool story, but I'm not sure the premise has much lasting potential. Not that I mind a slower pace, the episodes now are still interesting to me. But it is starting to feel like they're drawing it out, likely for some big twist in the final episode

I didn't mind the pace itself, but I already gave up on the show anyway.

The first few episodes started out with a bang. The last few (especially the more recent ones), I'm asking myself "Meh, why?"

I hope, in hindsight, this'll lead to some obscure "big reveal"... but I fear the writers were taking a minor plot point and stretching it out to pad the series.

I’m in it for the acting.

I fast forward through a lot of it. For example: I really don’t need to hear the voicemail message yet again. Got the joke the first six times.
