Regular uranium is not radioactive enough. The horse will get cancer but not radiation poisoning. You have to use either enriched uranium or plutonium, or something more exotic.
The resulting horseshoes would also be about three times as heavy so maybe there would be back pain in addition to the cancer

Can you think of a more efficient way to give the horses radiation poisoning?
Having them eat something containing a radioactive isotope comes to mind...
Okay smart guy, but how about when you can't make them eat anything?
Like in that famous idiom, you can lead a horse to radioactive pellets, but you can't make it eat.
You put it into the water trough, and then you take the horse to it
You can always get them to eat, I've never had a horse not eating when handfed...
Tell me you've never tried to feed a horse enriched uranium without telling me..

I think mortn is unable to relate to the outcome (of giving horses radiation poisoning) being desirable.
Kinda similar to people who can't get the Joker's desire to "See the world burn", which is why they don't understand his jokes.
I don't think anybody said it's desirable. It just has to be done.

That's not funny. Radiation poisoning is not funny. The horse should have something you can laugh at. Like full blown aids. Contracted from an African prostitute. It should be riddled with it. Now that's comedy.
