Wtf? Why? Is this a joke I didn't get?

[–] Iheartcheese@lemmy.world 37 points 1 week ago (4 children)

Can you think of a more efficient way to give the horses radiation poisoning?

[–] ExcessShiv@lemmy.dbzer0.com 11 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (2 children)

Having them eat something containing a radioactive isotope comes to mind...

[–] turdas@suppo.fi 8 points 1 week ago (4 children)

Okay smart guy, but how about when you can't make them eat anything?

[–] Dalvoron@lemmy.zip 8 points 1 week ago

Like in that famous idiom, you can lead a horse to radioactive pellets, but you can't make it eat.

[–] tetris11@feddit.uk 2 points 1 week ago

You put it into the water trough, and then you take the horse to it

You can always get them to eat, I've never had a horse not eating when handfed...

[–] datavoid@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 week ago

Tell me you've never tried to feed a horse enriched uranium without telling me..

[–] Dicska@lemmy.world 3 points 1 week ago

Make them eat horse shoes made out of uranium!

[–] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Wouldn't a small nuke or dirty bomb work?

Oh, sure, if your horses are all in the same place.

Nobody specified the horse needed to remain living?

[–] stiffyGlitch@lemmy.world 0 points 1 week ago (1 children)

uhm... put them in a place with lots of radiation...? wait...why do we want horses to have radiation poisoning again?

[–] ulterno@programming.dev -1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I think mortn is unable to relate to the outcome (of giving horses radiation poisoning) being desirable.
Kinda similar to people who can't get the Joker's desire to "See the world burn", which is why they don't understand his jokes.

[–] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I don't think anybody said it's desirable. It just has to be done.

[–] Iheartcheese@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Gotta irradiate somethin'

[–] jaybone@lemmy.zip 5 points 1 week ago (2 children)

A horse walks into a bar.

The bartender says “why the long face?”

The horse says “I’ve got radiation poisoning.”

[–] herrvogel@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

That's not funny. Radiation poisoning is not funny. The horse should have something you can laugh at. Like full blown aids. Contracted from an African prostitute. It should be riddled with it. Now that's comedy.

[–] stiffyGlitch@lemmy.world -1 points 1 week ago

ok that's funny
