Beautiful. Not becacause I'm a big fan of vets but because this adds more evidence that candidates with good leftist message can win despite not being squeaky clean. This is important because it lowers the bar and cost for such candidates. Cleanliness is costly.
i wouldnt call him a leftist, he has worked for blackwater, or its affiliates, it would be interesting to see if he will be a turncoat like most dems that immediately switch to the gop party(looking at you NC), or just a run of the mill AIPAC shill.
His history is... uh... concerning, to say the least (though the Nazi tattoo thing is bogus), but still can't be worse than a corporate dem.
