And THAT, my friends, is how you change things with a Sharpie in this administration

Yes Pete, everyone definitely respects you and thinks you’re super cool and tough now. Definitely not somebody who has ever pissed themselves after a whiskey binge.

[–] SantasMagicalComfort@piefed.world 10 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Hey that happens to the best of us.

[–] crazycraw@crazypeople.online 12 points 1 day ago (1 children)

yeah I mean hey I am not throwing that stone in this glass house.

[–] JoeBigelow@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Would you throw it as an axe in Times Square?

[–] crazycraw@crazypeople.online 4 points 1 day ago

well, yeah, with whiskey® at the helm, anything is possible.™

I’m enjoying the clear belly fat on display. The very same fat he has criticised career service members for having, those much older than him with far more distinguished service records and the respect of those they command. Wonder if Kegsbreath and Boof Kavanaugh shotgunned bears together back in the day.

That's just his inflamed liver

[–] fulcrummed@lemmy.world 1 points 22 hours ago

I am Jack’s raging bile duct.

[–] ohulancutash@feddit.uk 3 points 1 day ago

You paid him a complement there. “Distinguished service record” is just a murder high score.

Is it the ones blowing the dog whistle or the ones hearing it that are too dumb to make it subtle?

[–] stoy@lemmy.zip 32 points 1 day ago (2 children)

I just checked and his actual name is Peter Brian Hegseth.

It looks ridiculous that the sign only has his nickname.

Putting his real name like this on the sign would at least make him seem like an adult:

Peter B. Hegseth

I guess we should be glad for the sloppy execution, it helps future generations to identify these dipshits.

Putting his real name like this on the sign would at least make him seem like an adult:

Well, they're using his preferred name rather than birth name... they wouldn't prevent anyone else the same courtesy, would they?

[–] AlexLost@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago

Like Miguel Cruz

I have been in several situations where preferred names are not permited in official documentations.

In those engagements you are introduced with your full name, but are welcome to ask participants to use your preferred name.

It just can't be on official documentations

Damn, man is named after two family guy characters

[–] pastermil@sh.itjust.works 9 points 1 day ago

That's a foreshadowing!

[–] AlexLost@lemmy.world 22 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Man these guys are full on gloves off and Americans just shaking it off like it's just some bluster. Y'all are so fucked it's not funny. What does it feel like to lose your democracy?

[–] turdburglar@piefed.social 25 points 1 day ago

it’s not great.

0/10 stars. would not recommend.

This is a mask falling, not a sea change. Democracy in the United States has never been more than a fantasy.

[–] FundMECFS@anarchist.nexus 2 points 23 hours ago

This. Secretary of war is more accurate for the past 50 years than Secretary of defence. This is just a mask off moment.

[–] Bgugi@lemmy.world 16 points 1 day ago (1 children)

OMG... Thought this was a shop...

[–] SailorFuzz@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago (1 children)

You mean its not a shop? Wtf... no... wtf?

[–] Kondeeka@lemmy.world 3 points 23 hours ago

There's a second angle in another thread, I couldn't find a single inconsistency (same exact rotation of the teapot for example) so I think it's indeed real.

[–] gustofwind@lemmy.world 19 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Could have easily replaced it if he wanted to but he did this on purpose

[–] snooggums@piefed.world 20 points 1 day ago

I don't think it is possible for that to happen without it being intentional.

[–] snooggums@piefed.world 10 points 1 day ago

Wink wink nudge nudge.

[–] lechekaflan@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago

Scumfuck will likely to experience more mutiny.
