Good, at this point I look forward to libs crying about Genocide Joe losing

It's gonna be funny for a few moments until I remember that those worms cried less about the actual genocide

[–] anarchoilluminati@hexbear.net 9 points 2 years ago

They only cry for themselves.

People refuse to vote for Genocide Joe out of hatred, not apathy

[–] Krause@lemmygrad.ml 23 points 2 years ago

right? people who refuse to vote for him on this issue are obviously sympathizing with the palestinians, the apathy is coming from people like those in that thread who see the palestinians being genocided as just an issue in the way of getting the dems elected and not an issue itself

there's a special kind of disgust i feel when i see people repeating talking points from the ruling class to dehumanize people who are just like them in order to help the leaders they like get elected

No one on earth is more entitled than the ardent Democratic party backer. They run a candidate openly aiding and perpetuating a literal genocide and will still act as if you owe them your vote

The pro genocide people need to hold their nose and vote for ceasefire. I know it's not what they'd want in a perfect world, but the saying is don't let perfect be the enemy of good. No genocide is worth another trump presidency, and their stance alienates too many swing voters.

BlueAnon is real, and at this point it's possibly even dumber than Qanon

[–] huf@hexbear.net 3 points 2 years ago

qanon has weird funny takes, things like bubble tea is a danish conspiracy to manufacture 18ft tall hamas supersoldiers to burn down my favorite mcdonalds.

blueanon just has the most self-centered boring murderer takes...

americans really do have the worst main character syndrome

[–] PKMKII@hexbear.net 9 points 2 years ago

The “vote blue no matter ~~how genocidal~~ who” bit isn’t the worst, I’ve come to expect that. It’s the argument that Hamas timed the attack to sway the 2024 election. Both because the timing doesn’t actually make any sense for that, but more importantly it’s the burgerland mentality that everything in geopolitics must be about American election cycle. Complete smooth brained take.

Jawdroppingly idiotic.

When genocide is a "topic"
