I’ve tried to comment on older posts, but I get an unknown error warning on some of the older ones. Some only a day old

Really old posts maybe, but it might help to see which posts you are trying to comment on

Oldest post for me is this one from 5 years ago: https://lemmy.ca/post/375988

I was able to comment on it just now

I remember seeing people have that issue before but I don't remember what app they were on.

Ultra anecdotal, but I once had issues because I was setting the language of a comment. Didn't get an error, it just wouldn't post. Something to look out for.
