Was the moose driving?

Might explain the crash.

[–] dogs0n@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 hour ago

Like and subscribe or the moose is coming for you next

[–] TomMasz@piefed.social 2 points 1 hour ago

Hitting a moose with a car is really bad for the person(s) in the car. Their bodies are basically at windshield height and become a half-ton missile aimed at the front seat. It's easy to imagine the emotional trauma alone being enough to motivate someone to make a significant life change they've been hesitating over for years.

The near death experience probably helped her realize that life is far to short to be living as a gender they don't identify with.

THE DIRECTORS OF THE FIRM HIRED TO CONTINUE THE RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY AFTER THE OTHER PEOPLE HAD BEEN SACKED, WISH IT TO BE KNOWN THAT THEY HAVE JUST BEEN SACKED.

THE RECONSTRUCTIVE SURGERY HAS BEEN COMPLETED IN AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT STYLE AT GREAT EXPENSE AND AT THE LAST MINUTE.

I wasn't expecting some kind of car accident transition.

(Dramatic music)

NOBODY EXPECTS THE CAR ACCIDENT TRANSITION!

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 28 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

I didn't even think, like, she hit a moose, but that she was in an accident while driving with a moose in her car.

[–] kkj@lemmy.dbzer0.com 16 points 13 hours ago (1 children)

It wasn't the car moose's fault, so it seems unfair to mention them. It was the road moose that was a problem.

[–] FoxyFerengi@startrek.website 9 points 13 hours ago (2 children)

Are you saying moose are like cats, they pick fights with moose on the other side of a window?

[–] baguettefish@discuss.tchncs.de 3 points 4 hours ago (1 children)

pretty sure the plural is meese

[–] FoxyFerengi@startrek.website 2 points 1 hour ago (1 children)

Just in case you aren't joking, the plural is moose.

[–] baguettefish@discuss.tchncs.de 2 points 19 minutes ago

i was joking but thank you for the information anyway

[–] TropicalDingdong@lemmy.world 9 points 13 hours ago

I mean do we even know what kind of car the moose was driving?

[–] ethaver@kbin.earth 52 points 16 hours ago (2 children)

yeah my mastectomy is on the books as alleviating back pain. and like. it did do that!

[–] Ilixtze@lemmy.ml 10 points 12 hours ago (1 children)

Personally i would just add boobs on my back to even it out...

[–] drcobaltjedi@programming.dev 25 points 11 hours ago (1 children)

Lol that reminds me, my AP physics teacher remarked something like "I know it sounds cruel, but have pregnant women carry a backpack. It moves their center of gravity back to the middle of them and they can walk upright again. It's what I did for my two kids"

Slightly related, she was a really good physics teacher.

[–] Eq0@literature.cafe 3 points 5 hours ago (1 children)

Oooohhh - that’s a new take! I thought the back pain was due to having to carry extra weight and muscles not being trained for it. I never considered that the position of the weight might be a problem!

[–] Holytimes@sh.itjust.works 4 points 4 hours ago

Torque is a real b****

[–] Forester@pawb.social 6 points 15 hours ago (2 children)

Please elaborate on the back pain part

[–] Postmortal_Pop@lemmy.world 31 points 14 hours ago

Carrying boobs around on your chest causes back pain in the same way that carrying a heavy box around at chest height all day, every day would. Take them off and now your back gets some rest.

[–] runner_g@lemmy.blahaj.zone 18 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

Boobies are heavy and can cause back pain.

[–] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 15 points 14 hours ago (1 children)

[–] Carrot@lemmy.today 5 points 11 hours ago

[–] AI_toothbrush@lemmy.zip 5 points 15 hours ago

[–] Maeve@kbin.earth 2 points 14 hours ago

Ray Raymond: You feeling better, Miss California?

Jaime Sommers: Yes, I needed a rest. You know, the excitement of all of this kinda snuck up and grabbed me from behind.
