Been a staple of my playlist for damn near a decade
Please, no one tell Hollywood about No Man’s Sky, Dwarf Fortess, Portal or Subnautica.
I assume there is a 99% chance of a Cyberpunk 2077 and/or Red Dead Redemption movie/series in the next 5 years.
MMOs are probably safe after the Warcraft movie. Thanks for taking that one, WoW players.
Cyberpunk already does with their Edgerunners anime on Netflix

The only thing I watched that was that well made and emotionally damaging was the bicycle thief.
The whole western is also overdone now too. It wouldn’t stand out if they made one based on the story. The story isn’t that unique either.
A Portal movie with more then two characters would just be Cube.

Which far cry though, isn’t every game different?
They're all the same general concept... just different characters. Guy ends up somewhere, reluctantly becomes a hero and saves the area from the bad guys by killing everything that moves.
I enjoyed the first couple games as the mechanics evolved, but after awhile they started feeling kinda stale. (at least in my opinion.)
First was the best. Downhill from there. Just my opinion, really. The follow ups just used the name and not the premise.
Idk, the one with the cult was pretty solid. A bit on the nose, but I can’t imagine them being able to release that plot on a tv show currently
The exception being Blood Dragon, far and away the best one
I stopped after the second one. The only thing I liked about it was the stealth and lighting the grass on fire.

Didn't they even change genres? It's been a long time since I thought about far cry but iirc the first one is a pretty neat linear sci fi shooter and the rest are mundane current world ubisoft map slop?
