There was another IDF massacre in Gaza on Saturday, reportedly killing dozens of Palestinians.

Israel as usual claimed it was responding to a ceasefire violation by Hamas, but of course there’s absolutely no evidence for this to be found. AP reports that according to the IDF the strikes were launched after a Hamas fighter “shot at troops in southern Gaza,” but that “no soldiers were hurt” in this alleged attack. Not so much as a scratch. So I guess we’re just expected to take Israel’s word for it.

Now check out these western media headlines about the massacre and notice the disgusting spin they are placing on the narrative to normalize the continued slaughter of Palestinians:

“Israeli Strikes Kill at Least Two Dozen in Gaza Amid Fragile Ceasefire,” from Newsweek.

Do you see what they’re doing here?

The western press see the killing of Palestinians as such a baseline norm that Israel can massacre dozens of people in Gaza and they’ll go, “Gosh I sure hope this doesn’t lead to any violations of the ceasefire!”

It’s never a ceasefire violation to commit mass murder against Palestinians. It’s only ever a “test” of the ceasefire, or something that happens “amid a fragile ceasefire”. If Hamas suddenly attacked and killed dozens of Israelis, these empire propagandists wouldn’t be saying “Hmm I sure hope the fragile ceasefire holds up amid this challenging test.” They’d just call it what it is. And it would be the main news story in the world.

The legacy media already gone far. I do hope other journalists with integrity do come up with their own platform as having scattered news makes it harder to track.

You’ll still periodically see online liberals trying to shame leftists for not voting for Kamala, but the more information comes out about what the Biden administration was up to during that time the more genocidal they look. Biden-Harris are looking worse with time, not better.

You can make a case for Mamdani fighting against Israel but not for AOC and Sanders who voted to send weapons to Israel

* voted for a doomed amendment one time which included funding for a grant program which among some other things had missile defense along with defunding all of Israel's offensive weapons, and then after that doomed amendment failed and everyone moved on, continued their extremely vigorous opposition to sending weapons to Israel including obviously voting against the big bill which included sending both offensive and "defensive" weapons to Israel and made it vocally clear that sending weapons to Israel was part of why they were voting against it, which makes it weird that particular people are spinning up that one vote about the amendment into the whole of their Israel action and policy

** Also I think it was only AOC that voted for the stupid amendment, right? Obviously that one never made it to the senate, when did Bernie ever vote for weapons for Israel?

It does not matter whether it is doomed. What matters is the support it gets. By not voting for it she showcased that a "progressive" should vote to send free interceptors to Israel while it is committing genocide. Who introduced the bill does not matter either. Hakeem Jeffries is voting with Republicans to condemn socialism and nobody bats an eye.

Are only progressives supposed to take it on the chin while the establishment shows no gratitude for any concession they make?

Bernie Sanders opposed a ceasefire three months into the genocide. I am sure he also voted to send interceptor missiles to Israel many times, but if I provide you with evidence of that, would it change your mind?

I just provided you with a video which shows you how Bernie Sanders has concretely supported Israel and opposed Palestinians for decades.

I feel like we had this exact conversation sometime before. Was that you?

It was. I found it. You said the exact same thing the other time, too (about how I'd just reject the evidence if you did send it, so you don't have to). Anyway, when did he vote for sending weapons? I feel like there was some other time we talked about this I haven't dug back up, when I actually found the votes in congress and sent you both AOC's and Bernie's "no" votes about the thing you said they voted yes on. Absolutely no impact. No change to your demeanor, the presentation, no acknowledgement that there might be something worth changing your viewpoint about. Just continued lecturing to me about how you are the right one, you're so right that "you are sure," and this pro-Palestinian person in congress is actually an anti Palestinian person and we need to not support him and it's the only way to save Palestine is to knock out their most vocal supporter in the Senate. Wonder why.

And yes, I know you sent me a video lol. I asked you when it was that he voted to send weapons. Want me to send you some votes when he voted against weapons and explained in yelling pounding-the-table detail in the Senate about why he was doing it and why it's a crime that we're continuing to arm Israel? I'm happy to do that, I don't have to fall back on "I'm sure" and refusing to.

They're spamming their own "meanwhileatgrad" link from months ago, which makes them look even stupider considering how Zohran is steadily caving to Israel in actions.

The amount of effort they put in to do ad-hominems without ever addressing the argument leads me to believe it's cm0002. It requires a severe amount of cognitive dissonance to do purity testing on an entirely unrelated post by complaining about someone doing purity testing while staying on topic.
