Anything But Metric

Americans will use anything but metric

The Rules:

  1. Posts must be a screenshot, crosspost, or link to someone using a bizarre unit of measurement (33 lanes wide, as heavy as 10 semi-trucks, etc.)

  2. Standard units are not allowed, unless it's a sufficiently bizarre usage of the unit (this is up to mod discretion.)

  3. Intentionally terrible units are completely fine! Satire is welcome here

  4. Curses are fine, slurs are not. If there are slurs in something you want to post, please blur them, or reconsider posting.

  5. Flag NSFW content as such. NSFW words in these posts don't need to be censored.

  6. Post titles should be just the unit of measurement used (not the thing being measured!), and should be the full name of the unit (Apples and Bags of Apples imply very different things!) NSFW units should be partially censored. If there are multiple units, list as many as you want. If the source is satire, the title should start with [Satire]

  7. In the comments be civil, both to each other AND the subject of posts.

Pancakes vary so much in size I have no idea what this is supposed to mean. Silver dollar pancakes are the only thing I’d think of as being close to standardized.

Do these include the nipples?

It's meaningless from the other perspective too - cup size isn't a static volume measurement, it's relative to the band size. A 32DD, a 34D and a 36C are all the same cup volume.

So I guess what you're saying is that, for any cup size, there is a band size for which the cup-pancake equivalency holds.

Yes, but comparing to meaningless units makes the result of the comparison meaningful, as - + - = +. Please study maths people!

It didn't specify what kind of pancakes. Blueberry, whole wheat, extra light & fluffy, buckwheat? You can't just slap 39 pancakes on your chest and expect to be motorboated! What lunacy. It's like measuring dick size in chewing gum sticks.

Not only that, cooked pancakes lose weight in steam. But it says "pancake batter."

The average pancake is about the size of a slice of our overgrown fatass dachsund mixbreed. So approximately one banana long in body diameter.

But what's that in Rhode Islands?

TranscriptionHow much do your breasts weigh in pancake batter?

  • A-cups: 11 pancakes
  • B-cups: 15 pancakes
  • C-cups: 18 pancakes
  • D-cups: 25 pancakes
  • E-cups: 34 pancakes
  • F-cups: 39 pancakes

Obviously they're using breast-sized pancakes.
