Are these products available in states without legal marijuana? Just confused as to what this really affects, as THC is already illegal federally. Are states with legal weed suddenly not going to sell gummies? Seems unlikely, as they're already violating the federal law just selling weed to begin with.

Hemp derived THC was unintentionally made legal in a 2018 farm bill. These products have been available pretty much nationwide since then.
And/or under a certain content percentage I think. Laws were set for flower and oil concentrate but didn't account for making 12oz drinks that contain part of a joint
The limits were on the plants themselves, I believe something like >3% THC, but companies were then able to concentrate the THC and sell it legally. Even in places like ND where I have family and weed is completely illegal, you can buy these delta 9 products.
Nope, no limits federally. I have a jar of D8 distillate that's 100% legal.
Well... Not anymore
Law doesn’t go into effect for another year
Yes, they are. This is because the THC that's federally illegal is a specific form of THC: ∆9 THC.
But there are several different forms of THC along with other psychoactive cannabinoids (∆8, THCp, CBG, HHC, CBC, CBN) that were made legal with the 2018 farm bill that legalized hemp derived products. States have been restricting them, but not the feds until now.
I tried a bunch of these but I couldn't quite feel like good old mj
You want THCA, and I think type 3. THCA is just THC before adding heat and the type of hemp 1, 2 or 3 are cbd, cbd/thc and high thc.
Normal weed is also THCA dominate which is why you have to decarb.
I believe that THCa is now illegal for that reason.
For me, ∆8 feels like what CBD promises.
Yes, depending on your state you can walk into pretty much any "grass station" (a non major chain) and see an array of products, delta 9 is not usually allowed in these states or requires a medical card but there're close to 300 cannabinoids IIRC while some may be more/less effective, or have no effect at all these products really shouldn't be sold ATM, there is very little regulation or testing and it's really up to the consumer to decide if they can trust the brand/lab results, then you have shady stores repacking/refilling, counterfeiting, and selling underage. Now we could pass some common sense legislation and have everything regulated by the FDA/ABC or whatever.
I would assume ti would be only for the states that are not legalized e.g. majority of the south.
Please include the country this applies to in the title. Otherwise I have to click the link to be able to see that this post isn't interesting to me at all.
