That's what I used to do until I bought a brother laser printer. That was over 15 years ago and I'm still using it.

That's been my plan. I just replaced all my android devices with new (to me) devices which are all unlocked, flashed/degoogled and rooted.
I should be good for 5+ years. Hopefully by then the community has come up with a solution to whatever bullshit google has done.
That was me. Had a nice career, benefits, 401k etc. I quit in part because the company is eviI. Now I'm in debt, my body aches from my new low-paying physically demanding job. But I don't have the bIood of chiIdren on my hands so I'll manage.

I do the same but people will "read between the lines" and interpret what I said to mean something else. Or they think I'm implying some hidden message when in fact, I meant exactly what I said, and only what I said. Nothing less and nothing more. It's why I take a moment before speaking. I'm thinking of the best way to phrase my words. Yet it's often all for nothing.
Better to deal with some issues on linux that will eventually get ironed out than deal with the issues on windows that will only multiply.
I've got a 12VDC Mini PC as my NAS/Jellyfin server with 6 SSD's and no monitor that idles around 30watts and runs entirely off solar. It ain't fast but it does everything I need it to do and costs zero dollars to run.
