I wrote that initialy but Canada has too much style and self respect for that. Also, removing free knowledge from the people will please him more than you and i can imagine! So make it a place where americans can come to warm themselves and enjoy free soup while reading independent media. That will piss him off.
We can still build more libraries, too. Canada has style, but even our Prime Minister knows how to perform a Shawinigan Handshake when necessary, and that's part of our style. Elbows up.
Here's a better idea, expand the building on the Canadian side, and house all the books of the US side (and even more), so that Canadians literally have no reason to go across the border.

Fucking ridiculous. I used to cross in and out of Canada without a passport because it's fucking Canada!! I used to cross the Rio Grande back and forth too. Insane border policies need to be eliminated.
used to be able to get on a plane without ID too. then a couple planes hit a couple towers and everyone decided you need id for everything.
I imagine the people who died in those two towers would be horrified at the things done in their name.
That sentence would probably incite violence against me in a large swathe of the US.
It's so wild to me that 25 years later a generation that hadn't been born yet is memeing about the thing that changed everyone's lives seemingly overnight.

Canada should burn that library to the ground or just demo the part on our side. If it "long symbolized bilateral closeness" it's time to elbow up and burn the fucker down.
Or, cut a hole in the side, clear out everything on our side of the border, then put in razorwire.
Just demolish the Canadian half. Leave it a symbol of Trump's America, just like what he's done to the White House.

Fyi to all the people saying to tear down the Canadian side:
You're saying that we should demolish our own library because Trump is an idiot.
I know it feels satisfying now, but that is a brutally embarrassing self-own if we actually did something like that.
We need to make sure that they don't lock us out of our own library, though. If we have the ability to demolish our half, then we have the ability to allow our citizens into our half.

Corruption don is late. Canadians have been avoiding the US for months now and probably won't go back until Corruption don is out of office.
