She doesn't know how it works? Her father was a Congressman for this same region of AZ 2003-2025, and she has taken over his seat. She grew up with her father in other seats prior to that and helped with every one of his campaigns.

She knows how it fucking works better than at least half of Congress. That's why they want to keep her out as long as possible.

No, they want to keep her out because as soon as she’s in she can force a vote on the Epstein files

[–] LadyMeow@lemmy.blahaj.zone 64 points 5 months ago

Yeah, like how isn’t this just …. Pathetically illegal?

Just because people aren't broadcasting their civil disobedience, doesn't mean it's not happening.

[–] chosensilence@pawb.social -2 points 5 months ago

civil disobedience lol

[–] Jhex@lemmy.world -4 points 5 months ago (2 children)

it does… if it's not even hitting enough to make any noise, it's not enough to count

[–] JoeBigelow@lemmy.ca 15 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Thanks for invalidating all of the local work my friends and I do because the newspaper doesn't think it'll be a profitable story.

[–] Jhex@lemmy.world 3 points 5 months ago

[–] chosensilence@pawb.social 3 points 5 months ago

[–] MBech@feddit.dk 3 points 5 months ago (2 children)

A violent revolution would be a pretty decent start.

[–] Soggy@lemmy.world 1 points 5 months ago

Need the military to be on board for actual revolution.

[–] chosensilence@pawb.social 0 points 5 months ago

[–] explodicle@sh.itjust.works 7 points 5 months ago

Same as always - it's a major coordination problem.

[–] Zachariah@lemmy.world 74 points 5 months ago (2 children)

Mike doesn’t know how things work. Always projection with these assholes.

[–] jubilationtcornpone@sh.itjust.works 20 points 5 months ago (1 children)

He knows how it works. He just doesn't care. He's decided his job is to serve the wannabe emperor no matter the cost.

[–] Zachariah@lemmy.world 3 points 5 months ago

He knows how it breaks for sure.

[–] rarsamx@lemmy.ca 7 points 5 months ago

He knows how things work "we do as we please" they are not done the way she thinks "we do it as the law and rules say".

Bless his heart.

Reporters attempted to ask Johnson's wife for comment but Mike answered and said she had no comment to make.

[–] lectricleopard@lemmy.world 31 points 5 months ago (1 children)

[–] DrFistington@lemmy.world 25 points 5 months ago

She was out back with the pool boy, and please no more questions about Mike's grindr account and penchant for young boys

"Silly her; doesn't she know there are no rules anymore and we can do whatever the fuck we want?"

[–] Jhex@lemmy.world 28 points 5 months ago

republicans are pedophile protectors… the USA has a pedophile for president and 1/3 of the country thinks he is the second coming of jebus

[–] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 25 points 5 months ago

What a bastard.

[–] axexrx@lemmy.world 24 points 5 months ago

It honestly seems absurd that there isnt a rule/ law banning all motions when theres a pending swearing in of a member. It should be a litterally nothing can happen until this person is sworn in scenario.
