It was bit too hot for me on most days sadly.

Based on your avatar, I think you're lying. No way it could ever be too hot for you :P
Summer sucks and I can't wait for it to stop being hot. Though I did meet a cool dude who is taking me to the Biggest Little Furry Convention next month so I guess it wasn't all bad.
Most of our summer has been consumed by renovations that we've been adding to a todo list for the 11 years since we moved in. They should be done this week and I am so looking forward to having my house back and feeling like I can bother to take a day off, or have free use of my driveway and garage without materials or contractors needing the space.
Eventful, to say the least. Been a season of losing(or nearly losing) furry friends to have yet another come around in need of some care.
This was the first full summer the kittens from a feral mother had their eyes open, so they greatly enjoyed laying in windows watching the wildlife and napping in sunbeams.
Played hospice for an elderly opossum who got to pass with a full belly in warmth and safety.
Captured another feral who had been hanging around work. She disappeared and reappeared with full body tremors and weakness in her back legs. Still no clue what happened, but the tremors have been controlled with anti-inflammatory shots and she's regained balance and strength in her legs. Still not a friendly cat, but she's calmed down a lot. I've accepted that she'll likely never be affectionate, but I'm hopeful we'll continue getting at least comfortable with people.
Wish summer was longer. It non-stop rained the last 2 weeks, and now it is cold.
But I am not complaining, as always, I should be content when nothing bad is happening to myself and my family.
Ants! It gets super hot here in the summer, so all the insects try to get in the house for cooler temps. I had to deploy a fresh batch of liquid baits. The ones in the kitchen were the worst and it took almost a week for them to finally disappear. Summer is the worst season for me, followed by spring (hail, and the grass grows like crazy causing me to mow more often than I want).
Parisian (we stayed home the entire summer) and hot. A lot of reading. A lot of walking. Some quality time spend with my spouse. Not enough writing.
I didn't do a whole lot this summer, I feel I've 80/20'd my calendar, I've done most of the fun exciting things in the last month and a half. Booked every single weekend and many weekdays, and so far every single weekend in October is booked, too, with November filling up fast. This happened last year as well, super busy end of summer and fall!
My trip to Amsterdam for a concert in April and then 3 more awesome concerts in April/May kinda signaled the start of the slow summer, as I had to penny pinch and save for a bit, and the hot weather just kinda kept me subdued. I did go to a bunch of protests in my city, though. Protesting was the bulk of my summer activities since it was free and I live downtown in my state's capital, so I could just walk over.
