Rules:

-- PLEASE KEEP POST TITLES INFORMATIVE --

-- Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed. --

-- All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. --

-- If you are citing a twitter post as news please include not just the twitter.com in your links but also nitter.net (or another Nitter instance). There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/libredirect/ or archive them as you would any other reactionary source using e.g. https://archive.today/ . Twitter screenshots still need to be sourced or they will be removed --

-- Mass tagging comm moderators across multiple posts like a broken markov chain bot will result in a comm ban--

-- Repeated consecutive posting of reactionary sources, fake news, misleading / outdated news, false alarms over ghoul deaths, and/or shitposts will result in a comm ban.--

-- Neglecting to use content warnings or NSFW when dealing with disturbing content will be removed until in compliance. Users who are consecutively reported due to failing to use content warnings or NSFW tags when commenting on or posting disturbing content will result in the user being banned. --

-- Using April 1st as an excuse to post fake headlines, like the resurrection of Kissinger while he is still fortunately dead, will result in the poster being thrown in the gamer gulag and be sentenced to play and beat trashy mobile games like 'Raid: Shadow Legends' in order to be rehabilitated back into general society. --

Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello said security forces intercepted a speedboat in the waters off Falcón state on September 14, carrying 100 sacks of cocaine and 2,400 liters of fuel. The operation, which Cabello described as "clean," ended with five arrests. The detainees were identified as Joel Luis Rodríguez Ramos, Jesús Antonio Quilarte Carreño, Jhonny José Salazar Gutiérrez, Carlos Alberto Bravo Lemus, and Levi Enrique López, who Cabello alleged is linked to the DEA.

According to Cabello, the detainees confessed the shipment was part of a "false flag operation" designed to incriminate Venezuela in international drug trafficking and justify external aggression. "The four detainees are saying they work for the DEA," Cabello told state television, calling the alleged plan a "maneuver for destabilization."

Cool thing about this move from Venezuela? You don’t have to analyze it with skepticism. We know this is what has been going on. What are the feds gonna do? Say, “oh no we totally don’t do that?”

For a long time now I’ve been wracking my brain trying to figure out, are the bourgeoisie projecting weakness to bide themselves time, are they projecting weakness because they have some hidden futuristic weapon, or is it finally fucking happening like we always knew it would?

Guys, I think it’s happening. The Capitalist experiment can be characterized by outsourcing monarchy. They all became removed monarchs too. Naturally, they’ve gotten fucking shit at their jobs. I think it’s time for a second Bolshevik uprising.

The Maine thing to remember here is the US would never do a false flag with a boat against a Spanish-speaking country. blob-no-thoughts

Lord forgive me, I'm gonna do a reddit-ism:

Yeah, no one's gonna believe this story, what were they Tonkin?

The US has a history of disrupting communist leaning countries in Latin America since the 1920s or so. The Contras sure as fuck weren't the US's last incursion into wholesale drug smuggling.

Aren't we also seeming to be gunning for opium from Afghanistan again?

The actions in Nicaragua with the Contras got the US convicted of terrorism (unlawful use of force) in the World Court.

It didn’t change anything but at least it’s on paper.

It's not just on paper,it's on CSPAN!

Sleepy Joe Biden back when he was spry and I guess less sleepy, interviewed one of the crucial people necessary to make the Iran/Contra affair into what it was; Danilo Blandon. It's on CSPAN somewhere.

Danilo Blandon was Freeway Rick Ross' connection in the whole ready rock/crack cocaine debacle.

I've wasted a boatload of my life reading about Iran/Contra, the ready rock explosion in California. The US' history is replete with nasty shit but the I/C affair is one of the nastier ones IMO.

Trump: "You know how it's fake? The names! You think I'd hire anyone named Jesús Antonio Quilarte Carreño!? Now if they caught John White, Bill Cracker, Frank Johnson, and Dick Willy, then they'd have an argument! Fake news!!"

[–] Grapho@lemmy.ml 20 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

This is, so wrong folks 👐 I've been told they caught, a Mr JESUS Antonio. They're saying "he was smuggling drugs". Lots of drugs, very dangerous drugs. What have I been telling you, people? It's these illegal migrants in the DEA, the DEI is what I call it, they're seizing ☝🏾all this fentanyl👌🏾 and selling it in Venezuela. It's, so disgraceful, it really is.

I wanna see this in mainstream US media but I won't be holding my breath

[–] ZeroHora@lemmy.ml 36 points 1 day ago

The US incriminating an enemy? No way!

[–] SpasmodicColon@hexbear.net 18 points 1 day ago

I think this means that Venezuela now gets to [redacted] a boat with that dudes family on it

[–] VibeCoder@hexbear.net 21 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I don’t see this anywhere else in English-speaking media. Can some Spanish speaking comrades confirm that this is an official claim being made by Venezuela?

Yeah, it's legit, I saw the presser about it.
