Does anyone else find it strange there are no timestamps? This conversation looks like it was typed up in a random text editor. And the supposed roommate's response make me wonder if this is the first time they saw these texts.
That partial transcript isn't an exhibit, but rather part of a charging document; it's presumably formatted to be consistent with the standards of the court in which it is filed (courts can be very picky about this stuff, requiring specific margins, typefaces, spacing, etc., and sometimes judges have their own personal rules). In addition to this charging document, the prosecution will file exhibits consisting of screenshots or some other type of transcript that is admissible as evidence.
We know the roommate was cooperating, and the police had Robinson's phone, so without timestamps this looks planted.
I will be honest, the way this guy talks in this chat and considering the consequences of his actions: He threw his live away (likely the usian death penalty for him ).

anyway, the feds are incompetent.
This just made me really sad. If this is indeed accurate he really did mess up his trans partner's life for a long time. How do you even begin to pick up the pieces from this when things finally settle? I thought I would feel nothing but joy, but turns out there is a way to make me wish this was undone. If you're gonna do something like this, then burn all your bridges and disappear for a while first. Don't drag a trans person down with you (even if this is what motivates you).
