This is just a lone wolf. Hell, there isn't even remotely a pattern of violence aimed at Confederate pundits. There is not even stochastic terrorism aimed at Confederates.

So, if the shooter turns out to be some Nazi shitbag, these right wingers are going to war with them right? Of course not, because they don’t actually care about what happened to Kirk, and have no problem with violence happening (as evidenced by all the goddamn violence they are always doing). They just want to take advantage of an opportunity to do more violence against what they perceive as the other team. They’re sociopaths with no moral framework other than self-enrichment, self-aggrandizement, and ends justifying means.
Best case scenario for planet Earth is if they find definitive proof that Kirk's assassination was jointly ordered by Putin and Netanyahu.

To be fair they respond to most things the left does with calls for violence. They want to commit violence over trans existence.

They’ve been getting more and more violent for 9 years, so I really don’t see how this is a change. They literally tried to overthrow the government.

On the other hand, a difficult long distance sniper shot has the marks of a professional hit, plus he got away. Sounds a lot like an ordered hit on a not too valuable target for a political purpose.
