It says a lot when there's Ukrainian nazis running around saying they want to turn their country into the Israel of Europe.

Jus the way it goes with the lemmy libs ig ha ha

[–] Rumo161@feddit.org 11 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

No, its just a nonesense take. Arguing will lead to nothing because you live with a picture of "libs" pretty simmilar to what the republicans have. Actual anarchist and even the rare smart communist can differentiate between komplex problems.

What's with the condescension towards communists?

[–] Rumo161@feddit.org -3 points 2 weeks ago (2 children)

It doesnt feel good to be put in the same category with tankies and im not OK with their worldview being normal here. Them being smug makes it just easy being condesending. Till the revolution i'll akzept tankies in our trenches though.

Who is being put into what category with communists? Are you just referring to the Marxist/anarchist umbrellas on the left in general, and just oppose the Marxists? Why the smug condescension and accusation of low intelligence, then?

[–] Rumo161@feddit.org -4 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

People calling current Russia and China communism with people looking for the fair Chance for everyone part. Where do you see accusations of low intelligence in my comments? Its a petty internet argument about world views we are in right now. I wont defend my smugnes as good argumentation.

Nobody calls the Russian Federation "communist." The USSR was socialist, yes, but not the RF. China is socialist, the large firms and key industries are publicly owned and the working class is in power. I think if you're going to insinuate that "smart communists are rare," you should at least do the bare minimum to understand what we say.

your trenches?

Some "anarchist" you are

Dont try to explain that to a .ml! It will weaken their cozy black n white worldview and make them feel Bad!

[–] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

How do communists have a "black and white" worldview? Dialectical Materialism is useful because it works against such worldviews as are standard within liberalism.

[–] Rumo161@feddit.org 0 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Not all communist are tankies. Tankies mainly get trashed by communist and anarchist.

[–] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

"Tankie" is just a pejorative for communist, akin to "commie, pinko, and red." It's a caricature, not an actual ideological position.

[–] Rumo161@feddit.org 0 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Well, yes. In its caricature it still puts a focus in people who defend any state that calls itself communist in defiance of their institutional violence. So its not just any commi being a tankie

[–] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

The overwhelming majority of communists support socialist countries like China, Cuba, Vietnam, etc. If "tankie" applies to the overwhelming majority of communists, then it's just a pejorative for communists.

[–] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 2 points 2 weeks ago

Yes? What counts as a "communist," in your eyes?

[–] militaryintelligence@lemmy.world 3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Look honey, Russian propaganda

[–] bubblybubbles@lemmy.ml 3 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Right right right, have you tried looking beyond your western "media" sources for once?
