I have never. In my life. Seen a Harris hat. I'm sure they exist, but I haven't seen people actually wearing them!

[–] BackgrndNoize@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago

Because normal people don't do stupid shit like that

[–] Skua@kbin.earth 12 points 3 days ago

I like to imagine they all just got exported to Canada so that a completely unrelated politician who happens to also have the surname Harris could match that denim cap to their Canadian tuxedo

My mom got me this one as a gift when they came out:

there were a couple of these at the church i play music at. not a single redhat. it took some doing to find a church like that.

But you have to remember: "both sides!".

https://www.forbes.com/sites/danidiplacido/2025/06/27/how-labubu-dolls-took-over-the-internet/

Much of the dolls’ popularity has been credited to Blackpink (and White Lotus) star Lisa, who has been one of the most prominent Labubu fans, but many celebrities such as Rihanna, Dua Lipa and Kim Kardashian have been spotted with the dolls.

Notable white men.

Ahh yes, China, the country of white men, and Asia, the white men region.

the Dubai chocolate is fucking disgusting. $12 bucks for a packet of what's mostly ground up mealy pistachio wrapped in a thin layer of mid-ass choco.

legit just buy $12 of Hershey and wipe your ass with it, you'll get more value

[–] I_Has_A_Hat@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago

I mean, it does look like horse manure; but as someone who really likes pistachio's, I'm a fan. I wouldn't call the ones I've had "mealy" and the price hasn't been that crazy. Maybe you just tried a shitty version of it?

[–] gerald_eliasweb@reddthat.com 2 points 2 days ago

There is a store near me that sells the chocolate for $5/square, but they still ask if you want to donate 20c to charity.

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

if you're buying international cloacalate, why are you not buying from belgium?

[–] InFerNo@lemmy.ml 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

If you want a somewhat unique flavor, try Cote d'Or. I always thought it stood out.

Pralines, then Neuhaus or Leonidas (for availability also) unless you can walk into a chocolatier locally, then definitely that.

i am spoiled, yes. i eat chocolate like four times a year when we go into the city and stop by the chocolate shop because nothing compares.

[–] finitebanjo@piefed.world 32 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Ah yes, voting Harris, classic white male behavior. /s

[–] devdoggy@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago

Hey! We exist!!

[–] undefined@lemmy.hogru.ch 16 points 3 days ago (3 children)

What the fuck is the green chocolate stuff?

[–] earlgrey0@sh.itjust.works 28 points 3 days ago (3 children)

I believe it’s Dubai Chocolate. I am not super up on my Internet trends but some shops around here have been advertising it.

[–] daggermoon@lemmy.world 7 points 2 days ago

I work at a place that sells it. It's like twenty something dollars. Please don't buy that overpriced grinch feces stuffed chocolate bar named after one of the worst cities on this planet.

[–] Septimaeus@infosec.pub 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

So the primary ingredient is lead?

[–] baggachipz@sh.itjust.works 5 points 2 days ago

Slave labor tears.

[–] shadowedcross@sh.itjust.works 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

It is, at least in my opinion, so it's a shame it's so expensive.

[–] NoForwadSlashS@piefed.social 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Seems odd that it would be so expensive when the whole point of it is that there's barely any genuine chocolate in there.

[–] shadowedcross@sh.itjust.works 1 points 2 days ago

I think it's because it has the Dubai name attached to it, and also because it's trendy, so they know they can charge a lot.

[–] Catoblepas@piefed.blahaj.zone 9 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Maybe one of those stupidly expensive Dubai chocolates?

[–] toeblast96@sh.itjust.works 7 points 3 days ago

uranium-235😋

How is the man's skin color relevant here? I don't get why people have to pointlessly separate stuff by skin color

OP needs everyone to know that they're morally pure enough to recognize that these noble savages are objectively superior to the Bad Race™

[–] deaf_fish@midwest.social 2 points 2 days ago

Nobal savage posting

[–] Venus_Ziegenfalle@feddit.org 4 points 3 days ago

Plus they're speaking English
