No shit, that's how economics goes. Manufacturing rates go up, you make the consumer pay. Taxes go up, you make the consumer pay. Wages go up, you make the consumer pay. Literally any business expense, you make the consumer pay. Trickle down economics doesn't apply to sharing of wealth. It applies to sharing of debt.

And it’s less of a trickle and more of a firehose.

This movie was ahead of its time. I could watch this and Spaceballs on repeat as a kid

Oh, I don't recognize it. What movie is it? Very familiar with Spaceballs, so if this is in the same vein....

U.H.F. The “Weird Al” movie that spoofed a bunch of movies and tv shows. Good soundtrack too, obviously. But it came out about the same time as Batman, Indiana Jones 3, Lethal Weapon 2, Ghostbusters 2, etc.

Cool, I like all the others, which were a big part of my childhood. I'll check it out, as I've been meaning to watch the biopic with Daniel Radcliff. This might be worth watching first!

It’s a really wonderful moment to be defending Goldman Sachs against the regime. What a time to be alive.
