Welcome to c/news! Please read the Hexbear Code of Conduct and remember... we're all comrades here.

Rules:

-- PLEASE KEEP POST TITLES INFORMATIVE --

-- Overly editorialized titles, particularly if they link to opinion pieces, may get your post removed. --

-- All posts must include a link to their source. Screenshots are fine IF you include the link in the post body. --

-- If you are citing a twitter post as news please include not just the twitter.com in your links but also nitter.net (or another Nitter instance). There is also a Firefox extension that can redirect Twitter links to a Nitter instance: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/libredirect/ or archive them as you would any other reactionary source using e.g. https://archive.today/ . Twitter screenshots still need to be sourced or they will be removed --

-- Mass tagging comm moderators across multiple posts like a broken markov chain bot will result in a comm ban--

-- Repeated consecutive posting of reactionary sources, fake news, misleading / outdated news, false alarms over ghoul deaths, and/or shitposts will result in a comm ban.--

-- Neglecting to use content warnings or NSFW when dealing with disturbing content will be removed until in compliance. Users who are consecutively reported due to failing to use content warnings or NSFW tags when commenting on or posting disturbing content will result in the user being banned. --

-- Using April 1st as an excuse to post fake headlines, like the resurrection of Kissinger while he is still fortunately dead, will result in the poster being thrown in the gamer gulag and be sentenced to play and beat trashy mobile games like 'Raid: Shadow Legends' in order to be rehabilitated back into general society. --

truly the most American thing, stumbling and whoopsing your way to accidental justice

[–] SacredExcrement@hexbear.net 63 points 1 month ago (3 children)

Meaning to shoot up one office, accidentally shooting up another

[–] Rojo27@hexbear.net 49 points 1 month ago

And somehow both offices housed the operations of awful organizations.

Yeah, i would have been pretty psyched if he actually got Roger Goodell. I would say we aree reaching a point in society where people are getting incredibly desperate and will start lashing put more and more.

IDK, when I go shopping, if two places I want to go are right next to each other, it's not going to be an accident.

One of the problems with stochastic terrorism that the booj love to push is that sometimes it happens to end up taking out one of their own. che-laugh

This is why I believe 9/11 so terrified the American ruling class more than anything prior. For the first time in history, their own kind got got en masse on their own "safe" homeland - upper floors of expensive office buildings.

although many of them had prior notice or other scheduling that kept them out of the office that morning

Today, we are all Luigi. We can all be Luigi

[–] Grapho@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 month ago

We can be Luigi, just for one day

[–] Hohsia@hexbear.net 51 points 1 month ago

Any evidence for this NFL shit? It’s starting to read like a mainstream media doctoring of a Luigi copycat

The least I can do is hope

This shit is so funny, divine punishment tier coincidence

[–] happybadger@hexbear.net 36 points 1 month ago

I remember the original livethreads reporting that it occurred "in a building which also contains the offices of the NFL and Blackstone" and all I could think was 𝓽𝓱𝓸𝓾𝓰𝓱𝓽𝓼 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓹𝓻𝓪𝔂𝓮𝓻𝓼. It's proof that prayer works which I'm pretty sure is criteria for being canonised.

She accidentally wore her immoral vest out that day

"Real estate investing"

Now who's gonna speculate on vacant lots

The NFL stuff is based on a note NYPD """found""" on his body, just like they """found""" a statement of intent on luigi and """find""" an unregistered fire arm on the body of every black man they kill in Harlem.

I'm calling it now, this was a sane man setting out to kill the CEO of Blackstone for what theyre doing to nursing homes and the housing market. The NFL stuff is NYPD and the media trying to prevent this from getting away from the like it did with Luigi.

~~Let's not forget that Blackrock is a plurality owner of United Health"""care"""!~~ edit: this is Blackstone which is different. Also not to be confused with Blackwater the PMC.

[–] reaper_cushions@hexbear.net 19 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Blackstone and Blackrock are separate entities. Both are investments firms, but they probably commit different crimes against humanity.

[–] stink@lemmygrad.ml 7 points 1 month ago

They used to be one company before blackrock split off IIRC.

[–] mrfugu@hexbear.net 5 points 1 month ago

This tracks for me. Can’t have two sympathetic ceo pops in less than a year.
