I bought an ushanka this winter and quickly noticed that wearing my big bluetooth headphones over it sucked. The sound was muffled even with the volume cranked all the way up and now everyone around me was also listening to TrueAnon

I spotted a pair of wired earbuds on clearance around New Year's and after about three months of infrequent usage the fucking cable's already busted and the sound cuts in and out as you move around

I was immediately transported back to the days where I used wired earbuds daily where buying a new pair or getting them replaced on warranty occurred on a bi-monthly basis. These things just don't last in active use where you're constantly shoving your phone in and out of your pocket. On the other hand, my first pair of Bluetooth headphones lasted 4-5 years before I decided to get nicer ones

At least with decent wired headphones the audio cable can be swapped out if it breaks but that isn't an option with earbuds

Honestly bluetooth earbuds are also just so much more convenient for me
being able to put my phone in my bag that's in my bike's basket for example

I do hate the true wireless ones though, I use a pair that still has a cable between them
